This is a Wendy’s inside the Pilot truck stop. This place is NASTY! There is no leadership right now. If there was the counter would not have chocolate frosty dripping all over the counter. As well as having a person working the counter! As I stood for 2 minutes giving the chance that shift change might be happing. Then a young lady looked right at me, then ducked back into the drive thru. I presume so as not have to serve me.

The service was top notch. Fast, friendly, and so helpful! When I asked for a salad and they did not have them, the staff was very apologetic and quickly asked if there was something else I would like to order. However, the chicken sandwich has lettuce, pickles, tomato and mayonnaise. The lettuce was barely there, and there were no pickles. The sandwich was still decent but not the same when not prepared correctly. My son’s order however was perfect. He got the $5 biggie bag.

I waited for 15+ minutes without even getting to put in my order. The register lady is running around filling stuff. The line guy is wandering around with nothing to do. 5 of us standing there waiting for our food or to order. And 1 girl with a headset on talking on her phone prepping stuff. Total chaos. The register lady who I assume was a manager kept Apologizing. I’m glad I don’t frequent this area often.

I really enjoyed this place, we made a big order for about seven people and the cashier and I joked about it. The food turned out good and it was still fresh when we got back home. Really the only negative I can come up with is the ice dispenser on one of the soda machines was out and they was out of sweet tea at the time. People had to wait a few seconds longer due to only one machine fully working.

Sometimes they kind of get it right, this time, I asked for sour cream on the side, and instead, they put sweet and sour sauce in my bag. Other times, it’s just completely wrong. I need to be more vigilant, I don’t know why this happens at the store. But they need some work.

Stopped at drive thru for an ice tea. I was in another state by the time I realized that I had left my debit card behind. (My fault because I drove off before getting my receipt). Called them, they had it, and held it for me until I could pick it up 12 hrs later. Impressive staff!!

While waiting 20 min for a double bacon cheeseburger and fries, I haven’t even received it yet. However, it’s sitting there getting cold. The manager Allison is on her phone, not a care in the world or just standing around. I’m sorry, but just poor overall service from wendys. I was first to order, and 3 customers have eaten before me. I don’t recommend stopping here unless necessary.

I’m a truck driver and go to Wendy’s all over the country. I’m really tired of seeing a weeping and gnashing of teeth every time I ask them to cook spicy nuggets to order (meaning drop ’em in the frier and cook ’em fresh).
