Employee in drive through was polite. My order was a #1 combo, double with large fries and sweet tea and a Baconator with large fry. The total was 24.36. The order was correct when I received it, but I do have to wonder about the integrity of the employee. They received 25.36 and the receipt shows that , but they did not give the change. I would consider it an oversight if they were busy but I was the only customer there.
I don’t care about the dollar, but it does make one wonder…

Im not sure how this place remains open and how corporate allows such poor management amd service?!? We literally waited in line over 30 mins. We heard a big commotion whole in line in the drive thru. Employees locked the dining room. They were fighting inside and throwing stuff around. We finally get to the window to be told to come back later for the order or call the app phone number to request a refund. And I bet no one gets fired! The lady at the drive thru looked like she wanted to cry. She said there is nothing she can do that the kitchen was a mess due to a fight breaking out. This is ridiculous and corporate needs to get involved. I would not let the franchise owner continue knowing they are causing bad reputation. I cant make this ish up.

We placed an online order today to pick up at the drive-thru. There were only a couple cars ahead of us. We were able to get through the line fairly quickly for it to be right at noon. We have been to this location several times. Debbie was working the drive -thru today and she is always so pleasant. This location also has a 100 sanitation rating…very impressive! The food was good and hot, no complaints!

Wendy’s is always pretty solid in the fast food game, this one was no exception. The food was good. The staff was GREAT! very friendly and attentive, they did a great job on 11/15/2025 at around 3-4 pm.

I visited the Wendy’s on Union Rd in Gastonia today. I just left the Dr.’s office. I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to eat but a good burger. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Carolina Classic meal. She said they don’t have that anymore. So I picked a Dave’s single. She was not polite and just said pull to 2nd window: I said thank you and she said nothing. Then I pulled around and she handed me my drink with no straw. It took a min for my food. Then she opened the window to hand me my bag. She said nothing. I said “Do you have any kind of zesty sauce?” She shook her head no. I said ok, Thank you and she shut the window. I wasn’t feeling well and I was the one trying to be polite not the person getting paid to serve. I will NEVER go back there again. Service like that is why the parking lot is always empty. Ps, the fries were cold and refried. Nice .

Terrible experience. While at the window waiting for food the tall bald guy was thrashing around yelling about our large order ( 3 combos with no substitutions) he basically threw the food out the window. And yelled at me when I asked for sauce. And to top it off we was missing one of the burgers when we got home. To scared to go back since he already put half nis body threw the window to yell over sauce. This is ridiculous. Never agin.

Please put a sign up if there is a change in products offered. Employees ignored customers at drive through. Not telling them that breakfast is no longer served. Just letting people wait. Also hours of operation need to change on google if customers aren’t being serviced in the morning. I came around 9:15am.

I live 15 minutes away from the closest Wendy’s, but we decided we wanted it for the first time in months. I had ordered 2 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers (Plain). When I opened them at home there was no meat. There were only the buns, lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, and mayo. Basically the opposite of a plain JBC.
We decide to go all the way back there so we could get the correct food. The guy who made it said he was busy and would get to it in a moment. The lady we saw at the counter decided to just fix it herself since he would not do it. The whole time she is fixing it he is looking at us smirking like something is funny.
We ended up having it fixed but wasted an extra 30 mins just getting there and back home again.

Maybe the owners should pay a little more and employees might care.
A girl just stared at me eating ice cream. Didn’t say a word, eventually another employee took my order.

We didn’t even get to order food so we went over to cookout. We waited to order for 10 minutes (no exaggeration) before we drove off. Nobody was in line besides us. This has happened multiple times.
