It was a cold, rainy day as we continued our journey from New York back home to Pittsburgh. Needing a little pick me up we spotted this Wendy’s. Upon entrance we were greeted by the beaming smiles of the staff. Our orders were taken quickly and efficiently by Kristen whose joy and smile was contagious! Both the back and front of house were excellent!

Just went to get dinner since I had a late night. Go order 2 bacon double stacks. Get home (I know, my mistake for not immediately checking) and find the buns are soaking wet with grease on both burgers, bad enough to where it was leaking thru the paper. And no bacon on the gross, wet burgers. I threw them away and made a freezer pizza. Thank you Wendy’s night staff for taking $10 out of my pocket and time out of my life. To management- Do better

Unfortunately, the food looks very ugly. I think they throw the products inside the bread to create the burger. This is the appearance. I really found it unpleasant. The way you look at it, I think that great care should be taken in the appearance of the food when preparing it. It is very unfortunate. that it was happening, I hope that they take action on the matter, both the management who, as far as I understand, was the one who prepared the food, and the person who served me was very kind and very nice.

i ordered doordash because i work at the hospital. i got my food and the fries are clearly super old along with my chicken sandwich. it feels like a rock when i try to bite into it, it is super dry, and cold. i can tell that this food is definitely very old. i am extremely disappointed.

Wendy’s is Wendy’s. You go there because its food is predictable and it’s what you want. So let’s talk about other qualities of this particular Wendy’s.
It’s located on a typical fast-food/commercial road. From a traveler’s point of view, a little bit out of the way from the Waverly/Sayre “downtown”, but not that far. About a mile of traffic and lights from US-220, on a parallel road (get off one exit, get back on via the next).
Lots of parking, clean inside. Staff is friendly. When I asked for a flavor to be refilled in the soda machine, it happened without delay.
Unlike some Wendy’s (Ithaca comes to mind), there _is_ a “Wendy’s Wi-Fi” sign and the Wi-Fi works…albeit a little slow at times. And, yes, there is still a TV in the corner, for those who want it.
Unlike some Wendy’s (see above), there are no ordering kiosks. You interact with and place an order with a real live person. It’s a smooth and time-effective process. The POS device recognized a QR code from the Wendy’s app.
The soda machine seemed fine when I ordered. Sure, the colors were wrong on the display (failing screen?) but the product was delivered without delay. Later, returning for a refill, it was in “delay mode”, with responses to every screen touch taking 15-30 seconds. Time for maintenance or a new machine.
At the end of your meal, you’ll have no trouble finding one of the several trash bins. They haven’t been pushed into unlikely spots to make room for shelving units devoted to order-via-the-app customers.
Overall, though, a good visit.

Only people in line inside no one at the drive thru, waited 10 minutes for someone to wait on us with multiple people walking back and forth with not one person that would take our order. Walked out, ridiculous!

Wendy’s are usually one of the overall top fast food restaurants around and I do like their food. While driving yesterday over the radio I heard a commercial for Frosty dreamscicle so I pulled into the drive-thru to try one and yes they are very good. I think the next time I’m near a Wendy’s I’ll have another. lol
