I just stop by this Wendy’s location almost every night before work and almost every night I have to literally watch them through the window to make sure they don’t mess up my order. $17 wasted. I asked for a chicken sandwich but with onions instead of tomato, a medium drink with no ice. They repeat this back to me. I get to the window and the guy making my drink fills the cup with ice. I honked the horn to get his attention but I guess he didn’t hear me. Then I get to work, bite into my sandwich only to find the tomato that I told them I didn’t want. Had to throw my fries in the garbage cause they were cold. This will be my last time that’s for sure.

This Wendy’s location is a few minutes from where my parents have a house, and we ran out to get something quick to eat. My sister ordered chicken nuggets and cheese fries, and I ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger with just lettuce and mayo and a sour cream and chive potato. We got our order in the drive-through and received the sauces we ordered, but I did not get the buttery spread and sour cream for my potato, so I ended up going inside and asking for it. We parked outside under the shade to eat. The food was prepared as expected, and it was really good. This location tends to be somewhat slow compared to some others that we have been to, but ultimately, we get what we need.

Are you serious today? Just ran into…well wanted to.. wendys of whiting and at 12 21pm the doors are locked the drive-thru is 10 cars long. So much for grabbing a burger. This is twice in the last 3 weeks that just want to sit down and have a wendys burger and the doors are locked. I’m going to believe this is one of the locations that will be closing as they aren’t even open for sit down

My kid only wanted the Kids Meal for the toy. Since we’ve ended up with the same toy two or three times already, she asked me to see if she could get the one she actually wanted. I felt bad for being a bother, so I asked very politely, but the woman—who looked like the manager—snapped at me. She irritably said I should just take whatever I’m given, as if I was just another person adding to her stress on a busy day. I don’t understand why I had to be her emotional garbage can and take all that attitude. My child was sitting in the back seat and saw the whole thing. The look of disappointment and confusion on her face was so obvious.

if i could give zero stars, i would. this has consistently been the worst wendy’s location i have ever visited in my entire life. you’ll spend 20-30 minutes waiting for your food, and there’s a 99% chance it will be wrong. the staff is incompetent and visibly do NOT care. just picked up an order, including what was supposed to be a peach lemonade. upon seeing the drink was orange colored and tasting it, it was an orange flavored drink. we told the staff that the drink was incorrect, they said no, it was fine, and handed us the exact same drink back. so now i paid for something i did not order, and did not get it fixed upon asking. management needs to be seriously looked into here, the way this store is being run is embarrassing.

My order was so screwed up! Ordered 6 burgers, fries and chicken. Only received 2 completely different burgers and some fries. I was the only person at drive thru so, being busy was no excuse. Quinn, the host and Bryce, the cashier were completely incompetent. What a shame!

Wendys not great bot not terrible. 3 stars from overal experience mixed with prices. I went there and just wanted a few patties with cheese. No bun,no fries no drink. (Carnivorish diet) they said they couldn’t just charge for the patties, it had to be for the whole burger. I understood and ordered anyways. Its expensive to do that but is what it is. Food wasnt the greatest but it was acceptable. Very greasy definitely had heart burn after. But I cant give it a higher rating due to those facts.

I recently visited Wendy’s, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food was served cold, which significantly impacted the taste and enjoyment. Additionally, the service from the employees and manager was subpar, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. I hope the restaurant takes these issues seriously and works to improve both food quality and customer service.

Kudos to Wendy’s in Whiting. The woman who took my order and the cashier we’re probably the most friendly people I have ever dealt with on a drive-thru. The french fries were cooked to perfection and the chicken tenders as well. Great job Whiting keep it going

I ordered a double bacon hamburger and drove all the way home just to find out there was no bacon on my burger at all. The fries were stale and old and were not up to Wendys standards at all. The white male working the drive thru was absolutely miserable, literally sounded like Eeyore. I said thank you after every item he handed me and he ignored every single thank you. The black gentleman with the dreadlocks that handed me my food was very pleasant, thanked me and told me to have a good night.
