I have had nothing but problems at this location. Most recently my buddy ordered for pickup via the Uber Eats app. Order was placed after the lobby closed. Driverthru told us to pull around to the pickup window. Buddy waited in the rain only for them to try to gaslight him that is was picked up by a driver and likely at his house. It wasn’t delivery. The order shows it wasn’t delivery. If someone took it, it’ because in the time it took to drive around the other side, they handed it to someone without even checking the name.
Mind you, the order was placed at 11:45, they closed the lobby at 10. So it’s not like someone went in and grabbed it off a shelf. They just flat out gave it to the wrong person and didn’t do anything to confirm.
We’re showing them that the app clearly shows it’s listed as ready for pickup and has not been flagged as picked up by anyone. They kept insisting a driver had it. Refused to remake it or do anything to make it right. They were very rude and would not provide information to contact the manager.
I know things happen and dealing with irate customers sucks. But this was absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve been to this location a couple of times. At first, it was one of my favorite ones to go to… I’ve went there a lot, but this last time I went was very disappointing… they usually have fresh food. The fries were definitely old. They weren’t even soggy, just old… and my lettuce looked like this… I can’t win.

The worker araceli had a nasty attitude didnt even give me my fries my drink was 99% ice and when i asked for my fries she claimed they were given to me when in reality i never received them. Terrible service never again ( Im very disappointed this used to be my favorite spot to go to for some delicious burgers )

The food is decent for fast food but the service is just terrible and they literally make delivery drivers stand outside and wait for orders at a window that isn’t even connected to where the employees work in the restaurant. You have to stand outside in any condition and they take an incredibly long time to bring you your food. Worst pick up you could possibly do. Please do not order delivery services at this wendys.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Danny the manager at the Wendy’s on 65 Frontage Rd. in East Haven. Every single visit, he goes above and beyond to make sure my order is perfect — not just once in a while, but every single time. He is thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly personable. You can truly see the love and care he puts into his work.
What really stands out is how much he remembers and values his customers. Danny now knows my order by heart, and he always greets me with kindness and warmth that makes the experience so much more than just grabbing food. He’s sweet, professional, and has a genuine way of making people feel appreciated.
On top of that, he runs the entire team with impressive leadership. The restaurant always feels organized, smooth, and welcoming when Danny is managing. His presence is the difference-maker — he sets the tone, motivates his team, and keeps everything moving like clockwork.
It’s rare to find someone in fast food who treats their job with such pride, but Danny is proof that excellent customer service still exists. He elevates the Wendy’s experience, and he’s the reason I keep coming back. Wendy’s is truly lucky to have someone like him representing the brand.
I order a salad everytime and before Danny ny experience with this wendys was always questionable. After Danny this is my preferred Wendys! 5 stars now and 5 stars will always follow Danny, a great addition and they are lucky to have him! Promote him to Regional Manager, give him a bonus or something!

Whomever was managing this am, she was the bomb! Traveling back to Virginia, from visiting family and we needed some breakfast. Easy on and off. One of the best and cleanest Wendy’s I’ve seen. The manager worked with me to pretty much make every sandwich we ordered meet my fussy kids particulars. The new potato wedges were a hugh hit! They were great. My son said his breakfast Baconater was the best thing ever. Anyway, it was quick and they helped fill our belly’s for our 8hr ride. Thanks!
