It started with me ordering the $6 Biggie Bag and asking for a total. Why I wasn’t given a total and had to ask for it is another issue. I was then told $7.51, so I asked how this could be. At that point, the woman Working the drive thru said, “Oh, you want the small?” I said yeah, the $6 one that I asked for. Strike one…
I was asked which sauce I wanted, and I specified that I wanted the hot sauce, which turned out to not matter – after paying and being given my stuff, I found a parking space and figured I would take a quick lunch break and parked. This is when I discovered that I wasn’t given and sauce. Strike two. Now usually I would have already driven away and been sauceless, but I
got lucky…
I went inside and there was a crowd of people at the counter, so I had to wait a bit and work through the inside debacle. Eventually, I made my way to the counter and was given my sauce.
When I got back to my van, that’s when I realized I was also not given a straw. This makes drinking a soda while driving a bit difficult, but luckily, I had my coffee mug and was able to transfer it over. I didn’t want to use a paper cup with no lid on it and you can’t really drink from a lid designed to hold a straw…. I definitely was not going back inside. This would be a third strike in this one visit. At this point, how hot do you think my food was? Answer… Not very.
Awful experience this time, not typical of a Wendy’s location and not what I had experienced here previously.
Often times when I go to Wendy’s, I get the Dave’s single cheeseburger (see photo from previous visit), maybe the biggie bag is just too much for these people to handle here, but then again, when I get the Dave’s single cheeseburger, I always order it without ketchup or mayonnaise, some more opportunity for them to screw up my order , so who knows.
The following Tuesday afternoon/yesterday as I was passing through the area, I considered stopping here and decided it was probably not a good move figuring the same incompetent person is probably working the drive-through again.
Hopefully somebody turns things around and writes the ship before this location sinks because of the idiocy at the drive-through. Then again, it did not seem to be limited to just the drive-through.
In addition I saw one lady get out of her car and walk up to the drive thru window to talk about missing items.
Then they gave me the wrong order..
I don’t think I’ll be coming to this location or any Wendy’s for the foreseeable future. If this is the level of hygiene that they aspire too, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Best to stay away from here.
