A small noodle spot that really hits the spot! Friendly staff and quick service. There’s like 4 tiny tables inside. I got the minced meat and eggplant noodles—very greasy but absolutely delicious, and a fantastic price as well. It was cash only last time I was here (they accepted Venmo). Perfect hole-in-the-wall spot for a quick lunch. Definitely recommend.

SHAANXI, CHINA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – A classic way to enjoy biang biang noodles is with a two or three topping spicy noodle with pepper oil 油泼三样 ($13.99). No matter how you eat them, possibly with cumin lamb or Qishan saozi style, the chew and texture are both just right. It may seem daunting to pull the (very!) long noodles out of the bowl for sharing, so enjoy this order on your own and slurp away.

How rare is it to find authentic xi’an noodles? Very. We read the review on LA times about this place and popped over to try today. Loved every bite of the cumin lamb noodle, Liang pi, pork burger and more. It is hard to find authentic mum&pop place these days, so happy wen hui exists. We will be back,

Wen Hui is an authentic Chinese noodle shop with a wide selection of handmade noodles. The noodles are expertly made and the dish is flavorful and well worth the price tag. I highly recommend you try the Cumin Lamb Noodles!

This unassuming tiny hole-in-the-wall shop serves Xian dishes and delicious fresh chewy homemade noodles. They have my favorite Cumin Lamb over handmade noodles, and a stir fry version as well. I’ll be coming back often!

Small little hole-in-the-wall with 5 small tables to dine in. From what I can tell, they do mostly take out. I ordered the Cumin Lamb Noodles. The noodles are handmade, and they were fantastic. The dish was flavorful and spicy, yet balanced. The cost was $13.99. Service was attentive and friendly.

Very authentic chinese flavor. I ordered takeout from there on a rainy day. The lamp soup tastes pretty food! But the restaurant is very small so I probably wont dine in there.

Definitely the best Shannxi food in LA, and one of the top two places in the US (the other one in Phoenix). I ordered the cold noodle with chili oil, pork burger, and the rice noodle soup. The flavor is super authentic for every dish I had. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality. It reminds me of my hometown—shannxi. If you’ve never tried shannxi food, just try what I ordered; that’s a good start. Shannxi food is definitely one of the most under-rated cuisine across the board.

As a guy from Xi’an I’m highly disappointed in the food. I drove an hour to try this restaurant, and what they served was ridiculously inauthentic. I literally had to stop eating and leave. On top of that, they’re only taking cash and zelle, which I suspect is a tax fraud. Anyway, be careful if you’re thinking of going there.
