Great food, especially if you want classic americanized chinese food. The vegetables and meat tasted fresh, and they even threw in a complimentary small white rice to my order. I asked for well-done boneless spare ribs because I love the way the sauce caramelizes, and they delivered!

I moved from Worcester in 1995. I now live in Connecticut. I used to go this gem on Fridays back in the day. I returned to visit this restaurant in 2024 after 29 years and the food is fantastic. Chicken wings have that authentic flavor we love in traditional wings not that extra breaded with baking powder places uses now days. The Fried rice have decent size chunks unlike the minced meat most places are putting in their rice. They cooks are on time and you are not over paying for your meals here. All their options are delicious. You have got to try this place as it is a gem!

The foods pretty good if you get it during the right time of the year, it seems. Itll be really good for a while and then they start slacking and giving gross chicken wings and gross lomein and gross rice, so we stop going for like a year. The chicken fingers are always good. We went today after not going for a while and it was pretty good. They finally have the chicken wings we like again, when they glisten and are brown and nice size. When they slack they be having the tiny light brown chicken wings that be dry and dont have any flavor, but it was good today so we will be back, for now anyway, until they start slacking again. Their beef terriyaki is tiny, and red, compared to other places, but it was good and flavorful. I didnt get the shrimp fried rice or shrimp lomein like i normally would so i cant judge that today. We got white rice instead, and it was nice and fluffy. They have good eggrolls, the fried rice is usually very dry, the lomein is usually burnt and dark because im pretty sure they precook it and then they add more soy sauce to it while they reheat it to serve to people , their crab rangoons are ok, not my favorite, i avoid them. Overall, their foods good.

A good place for Chinese take-out: They put the effort into the food, not the physical space. Dishes are well prepared and good portion size. The hot and sour soup is a good indicator — abundant traditional Chinese ingredients (tofu, vegetables, herbs, red pepper and fungi). I would not recommend this place for a sit-down meal; but high marks for take out/good value.

So glad I stumbled on this place. The food is fresh & the quantities are big. I got a pu pu platter for one, orange chicken & crab Rangoons. My usual go-to spot is Ming’s house but this takes the cake for me.
Literally the best orange chicken and crab Rangoons I’ve had in worcester. I couldn’t wait to take pictures before eating but I promise there was much more that they gave me lol.

I got Wen Hing Lo Mein ($10.95). It was really nice taste for me and enough size for lunch. The owner is very kind and cooked immediately after the order. I recommend to have a noodle here.

Wen Hen is a good Chinese restaurant to takeout food and eating in is very casual and simple no elegance. The food is great depends on who is cooking it. The customer service is very friendly accurate order and on time food is hot not like warm or cold. The prices are good for the daily lunch special like #12,#19, #20, #26, those what I’ve chosen as well as perfect house rice large if I don’t want to purchase meat but love it with chicken fingers. 31/2 stars just need the sitting area decorated. Clean restaurant couldn’t see no dirt on floors in front of the counter waiting or sitting area.

Been eating here for nearly twenty years. Only place I will get Chinese food in or near Worcester. They are incredibly fast, the food and fresh and hot, and the service is always kind and easy going! Love me some Wen Hing! I would be so sad if they ever closed! Just so you know, this is not a sit down restaurant. They have a few tables, yes, but do not expect to come here to sit down with a group or on date. They prioritize their food above all!
The best food I have had here:
Chicken fingers
Fried rice
Beef teriyaki
Fried wontons (note: they have meat)
Wonton soup
Mixed vegetables
Spare ribs
Duck sauce(phenomenal)
My top favorite thing to order here is probably the chicken fingers with duck sauce!

Very professional the food was delicious. Everything’s always the same when I go. There never disappoints me and my family. I tried calling them back. Who was a little late but I just wanted to tell them in person… How well they’re food and the service has been great every time I go there. I give it a 12 out of a 10.

Ordered lunch here. This place is awesome. Lunch specials are $10 and come with huge portions! I’ll definitely be back again.
Probably my favorite thing is it seems a lot of their food is homemade, not frozen. The egg rolls had fresh crunchy celery inside, and the crab Rangoons look to be made by hand.
If you’re looking for some great local Chinese food you can’t go wrong with Wen Hing!
I added some menu pictures so you can see the current prices.
