We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger and coffee. It was supposed to come with a pickle and chips.
Our wait time was about twenty to twenty five minutes, that was a bit too long for a cheeseburger.
We did get our coffee quickly, but thats all I can say good about it. Maybe their coffee maker needs a cleaning, it was bad, tasted burnt.
Finally, our plates arrived, I almost sent them back, but I was hungry and did not want to wait another 20 minutes for another one. There is no pickle. The bacon looked as though it was just thrown on top of the burger, and it was as hard and brittle as could possibly be.
The burger was bare, except for the cheese and their excuse for bacon. Thete was no sauce on it, nor was there any mayonnaise. Nothing, no lettuce, no tomato, no onions, nothing.
I asked for mayonnaise to spread on the bun, and one of the tubs of mayonnaise looked like it had set out for a while. It had remnants of mayonnaise that had turned hard and yellow, looked like plastic on the edges.
The buns were toasted, however, mine was over done. It was extremely hard, I tapped it with the knife, and it sounded like I was tapping a brick.
I removed the bacon from my burger because it was so hard and dry but when biting through the bun, it was just as hard and crispy as though. biting through hard toast.
The burger itself was supposed to then medium well. However, it had the taste, look, and texture of cardboard. Seriously, it was completely dry. The color looked like that of cardboard that had been wet and dried, and the texture was about the same.
It was by far the worst bacon cheeseburger I have ever had in my life. The burgers under the heat lamp at a convenience store taste and look better.
The waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude, she did not even ask how our burgers were when I paid.
For $10.00 a burger, I would expect something a little better than what we received.
No, I could not eat but half of the burger, the taste was that disgusting. I took the rest out and gave it to my dog.
They have a sign upfront saying cook needed, my suggestion is that they close the place down until they can find somebody that knows how to cook.
We are never going back there again.
Look at the bacon in the photo. That is not how your bacon should look for a bacon cheeseburger.
Here’s a suggestion, if you’re going to spend that much for a burger and you want a good one. Go to 5 guys or someplace like that.
