This was my first time trying this little cafe and I really liked it. They have a quaint little side room with a tv and a wall fireplace that makes it cozy. I got the Mocha hot coffee and their BBQ chicken wrap that is very yummy!! The employees are really nice and all of them have smiles on their faces! I will definitely come back if I come through Ottawa again!! Highly recommend this place.

This coffee shop is a great and affordable shop! My favorite find were the kids smoothies for $2! They loved them. We also thought the blueberry muffin was delicious, and they even asked us if they wanted it warmed up- which I thought was very thoughtful. I got the seasonal lemonade and thought it was great. Overall a great stop, affordable prices and friendly staff and atmosphere.

Usually, when you go to a local café, there’s either a bitter or a fake taste to their espresso drinks.Well Grounded’s latte did not Have that. It was delicious! My only critique is I wish I had a larger size than what I’m drinking. lol

I recently visited this coffee shop with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell short.
The cappuccino was subpar, lacking the rich flavor and velvety texture I’ve come to expect.
Service was slow, and the employees seemed overwhelmed. I ordered my coffee with whipping cream and they forgot, I have to come back to get it.
My biggest concern, however, was the lack of attention to hygiene. Employees didn’t wash their hands between handling transactions and preparing drinks. I also noticed hair and scratching noises coming from the coffee-making area, which was unsettling.

This place has a cozy but modern atmosphere. I had a chicken salad wrap and potato salad. The wrap was really good, the potato salad was also good but would not stand out from other potato salads. I had a black swamp hot and that was also really good. Will definitely be back here again!

This coffee shop is absolutely Amazazing!! The outside is inviting, and when you walk in the door the smell of coffee mixed with bagels and other yummy foods and drinks just envelopes your entire nose and ears and eyes and it literally reminds me of home. That’s the best way I can describe the smells, sights and sounds when I walk in and relax in the morning. Y’all are friendly servers and kind and patient too, considering I’ve only been in there 2x and each time the waitress/barista was patient and understanding of my “innocence” of what was available and then waiting patiently for me to finally order lol. Great shop overall!!

Well Grounded is my favorite local place with great coffee, treats, and very friendly staff! My only critique is that they have the least accommodating hours. They would get a lot more business than they already do if they stayed open later. Right now they’re only open until 2pm and I pulled up, expecting them to be open at least a little later than that since they normally are, but was very disappointed when I realized they weren’t. During the summer especially would be amazing for longer hours, but also if they were open even a few hours more than normal during the school year, they’d get more students in after practices/rehearsals. I’ve thought that even while being in high school myself. Again, I LOVE this place, but their hours are incredibly disappointing.

Service was fast & baristas were so sweet & helpful! 10/10 recommend. We got 2 iced Fleetwoods, 1 frozen Frogtown, & 1 iced Tommy G. They were all declicious! Vibe inside was so cute & relaxing, the place was also super clean!
