Family that Eats Together

Love having a food truck on Reems Creek Rd, across from the Karpen Soccer Field. Wish that they had room in the truck for better coffee options. They are super fast and efficient. Sometimes I find their grilled sandwiches a little greasy on the outside. But they are super tasty. They are really 4 1/2 stars in my book….. close to being 5 stars…. I wish there was a way to get the sandwiches customized, because if there was it would definitely be 5 stars from me.

(Update) one of the few places I will order from post corona. They wear gloves and masks and have taken things seriously /end Wonderful local cafe with fresh deserts and tasty coffee. Beautiful interior with high detailed ceiling and large windows. A nice place to sit and enjoy an afternoon (on the rare day when it isn’t busy). There is a nice selection of soups sandwiches and sides. My favorite is the curry chicken sandwich and sesame noodle salad. The service is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the sandwiches are premade so sometimes the bread gets soggy.

We stumbled into the place while walking down Main Street! They have a great selection of baked goods! We decided on the mountain eclair which was fabulous ! We actually took it home and had it as a desert after dinner! We shared it and could not finish it the first night

Visited here four times during my stay in Asheville which only goes to show how GREAT this bakery is. A short drive from where we were staying and always a delight. From the very friendly staff who immediately greet you as you enter, to the enquire coffee, and then onto the most amazing cakes and cookies I have ever tasted.

Well-Bred has been on Main Street for quite some time now, and has become a local favorite. With its nationally ranked small cafe cuisine, there are lots of offerings to choose from. My favorites are the Chai Latte pictured below, as well as the plethora of sweet treats that are baked fresh daily! The pesto panini is another cafe favorite that shouldn’t be missed.

We first came to this bakery a year ago, and it was so delicious, we came back again this year! The Mountain Eclair, Cookies, Truffles and Double Chocolate Macaroon were awesome! I also like to wash my dessert down with their fresh lemonade!

We had the curry chicken salad sandwich, a regular chicken salad sandwich, sesame noodles and Brussels sprouts on the side, and for dessert a petite eclair and the espresso roulade. All were excellent. We liked the roulade much better than the eclair. Great space and friendly staff.
