My first time having Korean BBQ. It was really good. We got the family meal it was pricy but worth it . They serve generously we even had leftovers to take home. The customer service was Good. Very kind and hospitable. The only thing I didn’t like that they gave us Styrofoam plates but I can look past that since the food was delicious and hospitality was on point . I recommend this place forsure.

This place has become a go-to for whenever we want to eat outside of the house. If you’re Looking for Korean food, look no further. The food is delicious and about as traditional as you will find in the high desert. The flavors are on point And you get a decent selection of Banchan. The service is also traditional so be sure to press the service-button at your table whenever you are in need of something or would like to order. The place gets pretty busy during the dinner rush and service can be a little slower so don’t plan on coming if you are in a rush.

Tip for newbies:
-Look up some common Korean dishes before coming
-Eat slow and allow Food to cool down a little before diving into it. You WILL burn your tongue if you don’t. So, SLOW…. it….. down Talladega nights
-Don’t touch the hot-pot, stone bowls, or skillets. You WILL burn yourself if you do
-ask questions. You don’t want to accidentally order a dish that is meant for 2 to 4 people when You’re a party of one
-Make sure you are getting the correct order. If something doesn’t look like what you had in mind, just ask before diving into it. Chances are, the spicy Tripe belong to the table next to you
-Expect to spend about $40-$60 if you are there with a date
-be open minded if you’re new to the cuisine
-happy adventuring

I will be honest. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about trying this place out. However, my wife and I wanted some Korean cuisine so we thought that we would experience the location for ourselves.

Well Being Tofu House is snuggled into the corner of a predominantly intersection of different business which offer grocery, furniture, cellphones, fast food, and whatever you can imagine within a plaza in the high desert -I mention this because parking, while not a problem, will be interesting.

I digress, when we arrive, the place was quiet and had the look of Korean style restaurants I have frequented in the past during my travels overseas to Korea. I laugh now when I think of a comment someone made of the hostess’s attitude. While her delivery and inquiry about or meal was straight and direct, there could be some other variables influencing her approach. However, I found her manageable and even personable as the meal progressed.

The meal was not bad and the portions were comparable to the price – I got full and could not eat it all! There was so much! You will get your money worth if you are a reasonable consumer who do not frequent all-you-can- eat establishments. The one hang-up for me was the white rice I was served. Just did not taste like I am accustomed to. My wife did not seem to notice, so it may just be me.

In all, it was a pleasant experience and I will have to explore with my wife if we will make a return visit. Hope you enjoy!

Small mom and pop restaurant! We stopped by on our way back from Vegas and got the family meal- which was a pretty good deal. Got lots of food and drank hot tea. It was nice especially since there weren’t a lot of Asian choices around!

This is good authentic Korean food. I’m never disappointed when I come here.
The prices have gone up a bit, just like everything else, but the quality is still top notch! My go to for Korean in the high desert.
Definitely get the tofu soup!

This is a great, unassuming spot. We visited for the first time recently. We had a great experience. Our server, Liz, was awesome.

We ordered: sea food noodle soup and Stone Bowl Bibimbap

We were given complimentary tea in styrofoam cups upon arriving. Liz helped my partner mix his stone bowl bibimbap because she was worried it would get burnt.

I definitely plan on returning in the future and trying out other dishes- the tofu soup seemed really nice.

I ordered the spicy pork and the rice cake ramen. What came with my two order was some banchan: potato, fish cake, kimchi, and cucumber. Everything was delicious! I am a Korean food snob and was expecting underwhelming take on Korean food from this restaurant because of the area it’s in. I was wrong. I take back my words and humbly accept the lecture of not judging a book by its cover.

The pork was tender, slightly spicy, and savory sweet.

The rice was cooked to perfection. Fluffy clouds.

The ramen was delicious and spicy.

The side dishes were a delightful companion with the main dishes.

This place I would say dare to rival with big Korean restaurant from big cities.

Do not sleep and pass up on this place if you’re craving Korean food! It’s delicious.

Large portions on all their meals. Even their specials, which are kind of like a “lunch special”, was large. Amazing kimchi as well. You can probably order a special and another regular meal and feed about 4-5 people. Not a bad deal. The food is very fresh too, so you have to be patient. Just know that your wait is well served. Because that meal will be fresh and filling. This is a mom and pop establishment with amazing character. Very friendly staff.
