The food came out hot and fresh—the hushpuppies were golden and the oyster stew was comforting. The shrimp portions are generous, so you will definitely leave full.
My only knock (and a heads-up for others): If you need to-go orders, because you didn’t take your teenagers on date night , be aware they might ring them up as a completely separate transaction. We had to pay for our to-go plates separately, which meant getting hit with the 3% card processing fee a second time. Just something to keep in mind when you pay!
One funny side note: check out the ads on the menu. Seeing a funeral home ad right next to the appetizers gave us a good laugh—eat hearty, but plan ahead! “

The food was so good. My little boy was shoveling the slaw in as fast as he could chew it! The waitress was very attentive, kept our drinks filled. And the desserts were delicious. It was a buffet style set up. Very delicious. Will definitely be a return customer.

A homey atmosphere. Down-to-earth service and southern hospitality at its finest. “Seafood in your backyard” type of feeling with authentic taste. 10/10 would recommend.

First time visiting this restaurant. Has the old fish camp feel to it…large room with tables throughout. Sits right on a pond. Wait staff were very good, brought our beverages and choice of slaw, along with baskets of hush puppies and honey butter. Hushpuppies were tasty. We ordered seafood plates with scallops. The fried oysters and deviled crab were good. The french fries were kinda cold and some seemed like they had sat awhile. The scallops were not scallops at all. They were some other type of seafood, very tough and had a very bad fishy taste. They really should not call them scallops as it is misleading. We could not eat them. The baby shrimp were tiny, really just mainly breading. They had a small salad bar that we did not get, but it looked fresh and had enough choices to make a nice basic salad Prices were reasonable. If we go back, we will stay away from the scallops and baby shrimp and maybe upgrade to a baked potato and get the salad bar.

I was very disappointed when I had ordered an oyster plate and I think there was one small piece of an oyster, the rest was crunchy breading. I’m new to the area and this was my first impression of this restaurant. I’m really disappointed.

Everything is laid back and chill. The fish could use a little more seasoning. The slaw is A one!

I LOVE this down home place! Fresh seafood cooked well. The service was great and the sweet tea on point. You must get some fish with or without bone. The white slaw is . I would recommend a baked potato over fries and you must try the salad bar. 9 out of 10!
