Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Parking was easy when I went, but I can see how it might get tricky. It is mainly street parking.

I had the welcome burger. It came out quick and was cooked to order. Taste was good. Not the best, but worth a try.

They have a large outdoor and also indoor seating. Handicap accessible and vegan options.

A modern diner with a good selection of classic American dishes.

The pancakes were amazing and typically American-style. They are cooked perfectly, with a golden, caramelized exterior and thick, fluffy interior. The seasonal blueberry compote was made with fresh blueberries, so it is not too sweet, and this lets you adjust the sweetness with the maple syrup.

The sea salt chocolate pie is great as well. The chocolate is dark and high quality, with a nice amount of saltiness. The caramel sugar filling is creamy and not extremely sweet. There are a good amount of pecans, but the flavor is way outshined by the chocolate.

The Bumblebee is great: perfectly crunchy, yet moist buttermilk fried chicken. The mustard balances with acidity and spice, and the honey adds sweetness. Unfortunately, the biscuit is constructed as a sandwich, so without the sauce the top biscuit is dry. It also isn’t traditionally prepared and uses cornmeal, so maybe this adds to the textural issue.

The staff is minimally nice. They do not make small talk or stay longer than just taking orders or bringing food. Limited seating.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to try a cute diner. Right on the edge of downtown, walkable but street parking available, this spot is quaint and charming. Great outdoor seating available but I took a seat at the bar where I was able to see the magic happen with the food. The cooking team has great communication to get food out quickly but with great quality. I had the fried Brussels and the chicken fried steak. The food was great flavor. The chicken fried steak just a little tough (I’m used to being able to cut it with just the side of my fork but needed the butter knife) but not too tough and was delicious. Service was quick and nice! No complaints and will definitely come back to try other items on their menu, especially their happy hour.

Wow! Every last bit of food I got here was amazing and the time I got to hang out with the people who were with me was something that you can’t just buy. It’s definitely an experience, whether it’s late night with friends, or lunch with the family, this place really hits. Be sure to grab yourself some pie if they have any left, it is amazing!

What a neat place in a great location. The patio and the huge windows show off a scene that feels like you’re not in a desert. Interesting and vast food/drink menus with an incredibly nice staff. The potatoes made my breakfast worth it but can’t wait to go back for dinner.

This place is wonderful! Friends took us here after a long flight and it was just what we needed. The interior is so cute but we loved eating outside. The prickly pear lemonade was delicious, the fries were crispy which is the way I like them, and the Caesar salad was simple but packed with flavor. Every staff member we came into contact with were soooo friendly. I look forward to visiting again when I’m in town!

The food was Amazing. The Welcome Diner reminded me of when I was a kid in a small town in Indiana. Who would’ve thought Phoenix, AZ would have such a Diner. Staff were Awesome. The Atmosphere was Great. A Must go to. The portions are really big.

Welcome Diner is such a gem! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, but the real standouts for me were the mac & cheese and the Caesar salad — both were amazing. The mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked, while the Caesar salad was crisp, flavorful, and had just the right amount of dressing.

The atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about quality and making people feel at home.

If you’re looking for comfort food done right, Welcome Diner is the place to go. Definitely coming back soon!

Welcome diner is wonderful!
Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was so excited. They have amazing burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. They’re chorizo potato appetizer is really good.

They also have a great cocktail selection, wines and beers.

Great outdoor seating. Our table was a little wobbly and the server had a little thing to put under the leg which fix that easily.

The service was fantastic!

Great location and a fun spot to stop on your trip to Phoenix.

Biscuits and sausage gravy here are amazing. Great service . Reminds me of the small town diner in Illinois. Home in the middle of Phoenix. Definitely a local secret
