Went with a friend and we both got flights of 5. We both thought all of the beers were good to very good, which doesn’t happen often when trying that many beers. Liked the atmosphere, and the server was attentive. Did not try the food so can speak to that. The patio outside area looks nice, will have to come back and try the food on the patio. Would recommend if you are in the area. Definitely one of the better breweries in the Northland.

Welco is greatco! A really cool place tucked away in Smithville with great food, tasty beer and really friendly staff. There are some reimagined album covers that are really fun to take a guess at and they have live music on Saturdays as if beer wasnt enough. Oh yeah, smash burgers. Like really good smash burgers. Like would walk past your momma to have one type smash burger. Like…jk. Sorry no pic, ate it all before I even thought about it so you’ll have to trust me on this one.

I love, love, LOVE this place. Welco is easily a top-5 restaurant on the planet for our family. The atmosphere is unbeatable—warm, welcoming, and full of character. Our 1-year-old daughter absolutely adores coming here, and the fact that the staff all know her by name says everything. Huge shoutout to our waitress, Tiffany, who always goes out of her way to check in on our daughter and make her feel special. Small-town feel, incredible food, great beer, and even better people. This place is truly something special.

Threw my husband a party here and it was absolutely perfect!!! Welco was so easy to work with and offered very fair pricing for hosting an event! They were so flexible about what I was wanting and even dealt with my last minute panics and over-thinking with so much kindness. The service was BEYOND amazing, with drinks showing up virtually as they were ordered and food was devoured. Shout out to Tiffany for taking such great care of us, would absolutely do it again!

This place checks all the boxes! Good food, fun cocktails, craft beer, wine, indoor outdoor seating with a shaded patio, eclectic-chic decor, live music…oh and most importantly a friendly, hard working staff. I highly recommend adding this place as one of your go to spots. Our most recent trip we did the smash burger, the Wandering Martha Beer, and the Mexican Honey Bee cocktail all of which were delicious, refreshing, and smooth.

My husband and I love Welco! We go there anytime we get a night out. We’ve gone just the two of us, I brought my staff after our Christmas party last year (they all loved it), and most recently we popped in at Festi-ville when they were slammed and still got great service. Anytime we’ve been it’s always great. We love the atmosphere, we love that you can bring your family as well. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the brews are awesome! Now if we can just convince them to have Mango Boi year round my husband would be so happy We are so thankful to have a cool local brewery in town! #supportlocal #theville

I’ve gone here a few times and every single time we get the old blonde waitress. Im not sure if shes drunk or on something but shes very off. My food was cold. She is very rude. She doesn’t check on her tables enough that if you need to complain you can’t. She bashes other small businesses in the area. Very unfortunate and unprofessional. Really want to see this place succeed but cannot support a business that allows their staff to act that way. Live music is the only thing that gives this place a positive experience.

Food is decent and drinks are pretty good but the 2 times we’ve been here we’ve had HORRIBLE service. I saw another review about the wait staff being rude and I know exactly who this is referencing and definitely agree! We had her as our waitress during one of our terrible experiences here. If their service continues this way, they won’t last long.
