My parents and i recently visited this Wei’s fish and was blown away by the overall experience. First of all, they offer unlimited free rice—such a great deal! The place is very clean and grease-free.

The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Location-wise, it’s convenient and easy to get to.

Most importantly, the value for money is incredible. The food is tasty and well-prepared—definitely great quality for the price. At this price point, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

We came in on a Tuesday night at 7:30pm, and there was no wait. Parking was easy, too. Their QR code/mobile ordering system is straightforward.

My cousin got their signature suancai & snakehead (small) and I got the green Sichuan pepper soup. Most dishes come with 1 rice included and a choice of 2 sides (except their signature dish).

Both dishes were super flavorful! We agreed neither of us had tasted anything like it before. The Sichuan peppercorn was super numbing – I think I’d prefer a less peppery dish next time, but it was still delicious.

I had enough for leftovers, and we shared the brown sugar rice cakes, which were so good. For 2 people for two small mains and a dessert, the total was 57.06$ including tip.

Service was fast and friendly! Definitely looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

The signature hot-oil Suancai fish is absolutely a must-try—rich, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of heat. It’s one of those dishes you immediately want to recommend to everyone. Beyond the food, the service really stood out. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s rare these days to find a place where the team seems truly happy to help, and it added a refreshing touch to the meal. Overall, great food, great people, and a spot I’d gladly visit again.

Disappointing. Most of all they’re stingy with fish. I only had a few small chunks of fish in my classic spicy. The flavor isn’t bad but definitely below the bar I’m used to at legitimate Sichuan/Hunan restaurants. Finally the price isn’t that great either for what you get (minimum small fish starts at 20 bucks, with the quality as described above). I’ll only return if I have no other option for a quick fish dinner, otherwise easily find a much better place.

I always get the Green Sichuan Pepper Saurkraut Fish Soup (aka Signature Suancai & Fish) and it’s SO good. I’ve ordered for takeout and also had it delivered via DoorDash and the quality and flavor is great every time. I usually add the sweet potato glass noodles and wood ear mushrooms. Will definitely continue ordering from here!

The parking lot is large, but it’s almost always crowded, so there are usually only a few open spots. The pickled vegetable and fish dishes are the best items on the menu. I often get takeout from here as well.

Many of my Taiwanese friends recommended it to me. This Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili is becoming increasingly popular.

It has a scallion and tomato flavor but is not spicy. I personally don’t think it’s anything special. The fish slices are very soft and the soup is a bit sour because the pickled cabbage, good to eaten with white rice.

Service is fast and friendly , but table so small and tiny .

Price is very reasonable, 2 people $38 , one appetizer – deep fried chicken , 2 drink , one pot of fish .

We arrived for an early dinner at 5:45 PM with easy seating and parking available. Was seated quickly and ordered via QR code. We ordered the Large Old Pot Sauerkraut Fish ($27), which came quickly and was piping hot. Fish was tender, vegetables and other ingredients cooked well, very flavorful. They have varying levels of spice for different palates, but the single chili pepper soup was just right for us. Pretty reasonable price for two people in the Bay Area. Would recommend!

I would definitely try to get out of going to this place again. The food comes out cold and it is very not spicy, even the items marked with three chili peppers. There is not much flavor compared to the similar restaurants on Stevens Creek and De Anza, but I don’t think I can name drop here.

They had a lemon flavored fish soup that I wanted to try because it is very classic but unfortunately they were out. I do not recommend the tomato fish soup because boiled tomatoes have a sourness that ruins everything; ie: even the best of beef noodle soups!

Most of the items are fish soup so there is no point of doing family style. There is a chili beef dish for variety.. However, we waited abnormally long for it, so long that the most patient people in our group were getting antsy. Eventually we had to tell them that they plumb forgot about our last dish. The duck blood is fine but very expensive for what it is and the portion was small, the typical size of what you would find at skewer places.

The service is okay; no qualms here. They were efficient and even refilled our waters once. They also tried to help us figure out what was missing in our order. But this is not the type of restaurant where they ask how is the food, etc.
