Exactly what you want in a deli. Great sandwiches, hot and cold. Menu is staggeringly expansive. So many options, makes it tough to decide! We come here for lunch with the kiddo every time we are in the area. Great way to start or finish a visit to Downtown Grapevine. This time around I got the Santora’s sub, 4 deli meats (prosciutto, Genoa, capicolla + fresh Buffalo Mozz and great toppings. Oil and vinegar perfectly dressed so not a sloppy, wet mess. Even my 4yo loved it. It gets hopping at lunch – we got there at 1140am, were 3rd in line to order and by time we left line was out the door!

I stopped in excited to try the Chicago dog since the restaurant prominently features Vienna Beef branding and even has signage and awards highlighting it. Unfortunately, the Chicago hot dog I received didn’t appear to be a Vienna Beef sausage, the bun wasn’t steamed or warmed up, and it was served lukewarm, which was disappointing since I was hoping for a decent Chicago-style experience.

That said, the deli itself looks great and the rest of the menu items coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. You can tell they care about quality and presentation. I’d definitely return to try their sandwiches and other offerings. Just hoping the Chicago dog can better match the expectations set by the branding.

Our family has heard about the deli from multiple people telling us how amazing the sandwiches are, and guess what!? They were right One of the best sandwiches I have eaten since moving to Texas!! Love the old school Deli vibe. The options are plentiful and the food is delicious
We went during the day AFTER their lunch rush. The staff was very patient and fast. Each of us tried different sandwiches and shared because they were so good you had too! Pickles are so good. Great news they are taking the spot next door to expand and the owner is working on a breakfast sandwich menu
We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food when we are in town.

The most amazing Deli I’ve ever been to! What a gem of a place in historic Grapevine, Texas. Every Sandwich is a flavor bomb on fresh bread. Once you have a sandwich from here you will never go to another sandwich place! It’s very difficult to have a favorite sandwich here, so I always get two!

Great selection of sandwiches, endless, even overwhelming amount of options. However you can’t go wrong with any of them. If you’re taking a stroll down Grapevine Main St, stop in here and get a sandwich! (The Ruben and New Yorker are both wonderful)

Weinberger’s lived up to the hype. Ordered the Vera Cuban. Sandwich was incredible – super flavorful and unique. Portion was massive and certainly big enough to split, which I was satisfied with for the price. Quick service too. Only complaint is the inside is a bit small so you might be stuck without a table on a day when you can’t sit outside. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the sandwiches.

OMG, this is the place to go feed your face, as well as your carnivorous appetite. They have it all, and at a great price. Absolutely delicious food. Reminds me of a Chicago styled sandwich deli. Which is what they’re advertising….

Feels like a local spot in Detroit. Brick and mortar, been standing since ’52. Brick walkways and metal tables and chairs. Classic area that the world has outgrown. If you like peace and quiet, move on.

Gorgeous little city esque spot, seating in an inside corner of the building, providing good shade most of the day. If the weather is nice I highly recommend eating outside. Inside the shop is a line that sometimes extends through the whole building but it moves quick, cause there’s an equally long line behind the counter of friendly and efficient employees hussling and bussling to make your food fresh to order. Portraited paintings and photos line the wall, and they have creative names for their extensive menu.

Every sandwich comes with a pickle and a handful of their potato chips. I got the Red Dragon Cubano, and though it wasn’t as spicy as I was thinking it would be, they nailed it with the fresh, juicy, flavorful ingredients. The price was definitely worth it, especially given you can just add any kind of sandwich toppings you can think of for free. (Charges for dairy and protein products).

As juicy as my Cubano was, a HUGE plus goes to the bread which refused to be sogged up during my meal. It was soft, chewy, and had a good crust. Props to the baker.

Overall very pleased with the hospitality and service I was presented with. The place is cramped, but don’t let that scare you off. The food is out quick, and better than any spot around for a lunch stop. Honestly couldn’t be bothered with subway or the like from now on. If I’m in the area, I’m eating here.

Lots of sandwiches to choose from! Everything we tried was delicious. I got one of the specials of the day “Charlie’s Chicken” and it was great. Can’t wait to come try another sandwich. They also had a good selection of vegetarian options.

Well this was my first time here. The menu is substantial and I panicked on making a decision when it finally came to order. I selected the Jaybird from the specials menu. Let me tell you the game time decision was on point.

You get a rich, savory backbone right away from the grilled prosciutto and soppressata—salty, meaty, and slightly funky with that cured spice. The buffalo mozzarella melts in soft and creamy, cooling things down just enough before the peach habanero jam hits with a sweet-heat pop that’s fruity first, fiery second.

Then come the Calabrese peppers, adding a sharper, lingering heat, balanced by peppery arugula and sweet red onions for crunch and freshness. The chopped tomato brings a juicy, acidic lift that keeps it from feeling heavy.

Everything’s tied together with Italian seasoning and chili oil, so there’s a warm, herby, slow-building spice throughout, and it all sits on garlic-toasted focaccia—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, with that buttery garlic aroma rounding out every bite.
