Best gourmet Chinese food I’ve ever had. Will always visit this restaurant when I go to NY.

Omg I wish I lived near this restaurant. I couldn’t believe what was on the menu for gf. All soy is tamari based. I had a wonderful noodle dish. I was so excited and it was so hard to choose. We wandered over from New Jersey side and it was well worth it. It will be my go-to in NYC from now on. My son had the not gf Philly steak sandwhich and fries and holy cow. Plus we had a veggie at the table and they added tofu to a random dish with no extra charge. Fantastic. Staff were wonderful. Great location!! Came back in 2025 and still yum, and still so awesome to have such a great gluten free selection. Actually got my hotel close enough so I could try it again!

I never get to eat Chinese food like sesame chicken because I’m gluten free, I visited Wei west because I saw they offered this. They deserve way more stars than 3.9, it was so delicious. My husband had regular (not gf) and said mine was just as good. I LOVED IT. Gluten free paradise, great food!

General Tso’s chicken was one of the best I had. Miso soup was delicious as were the steamed dumplings. Green tea shake was ok.

We got the Rainbow Roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll. The fish was fresh, but not the most flavorful. It also wasn’t very filling for the price.
Both rolls were mediocre, not bad, but not the best either.
Also whoever is in charge of the music system needs to turn of discord notifications, since I heard nothing but notifications popping up during the music.

Great sushi place, always fresh made on the spot. Fast service. I love eating here before going to the movies at the Conrad hotel regal theatre. There veggie spring rolls are great, fresh hot Admame, and awesome spicy tuna sushi

My friend and I came here for dinner after having a good happy hour experience a few weeks prior. Dinner was a disappointing experience. Her noodles were cold and dry. My saki was lukewarm. My sashimi entree was not very fresh, nor were the pieces a decent size, which was particularly disappointing for a $30 entree. We ordered edamame for an appetizer and it took forever to come. Didn’t taste that great either. All in all, I can see why the place was empty for a Wednesday night and I would not recommend coming here for dinner.

Returned due to good experiences in the past. This time it was a big disappointment. Ramen had no flavour with lumpy noodles. Didn’t finish it, tried to eat as much as I could (hate leaving food), but eating something that tastes no good…well, you could do better in the past, I hope you can climb back up.

Had a great time here. The food was moderately priced and the saké was delicious. Service was attentive which made this a superb option for Sushi. This place was a hybrid between Tony Tribeca and down-tempo Brooklyn with the sports playing by the bar.
