Pretty dang good, especially for being in Saint Louis. I didn’t know we had a Chinese bakery here, so I gorged when I found out, lol. First, since I was sick when I ordered delivery, I had their hot and sour soup. Admittedly it was a bit more bitter than sour compared to what I’m used to, but it still hit the spot & helped clear my sinuses out. I had their beef chow fun–the first time I’ve found this in St Louis ever!–and it was fantastic. I love this dish so much that I make it all the time, and they nailed it. Honestly, it was better than the beef chow fun I ordered in Queens and NYC all the time when I lived there. They nailed this dish! Lastly, I tried their duck. Don’t be put off by the prices; their portions are HUGE. I ordered the medium and I swear three pounds of meat arrived at my door. It was tender and delicious, but I admit that the sauce was SUPER hoisin-heavy and a little underwhelming because of it.

Altogether, 5 stars. It’s great having a Chinese bakery option in the city!

We come here all the time with my spouse, and it never disappoints! The red bean sesame bun is an absolute must-have for us every visit—it’s perfectly sweet, warm, and always hits the spot. The BBQ pork bun is just as amazing, packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. This place is a total favorite of ours and always leaves us happy.

I love Chinese baked goods BECAUSE of Wei Hong! I’ve been going to the location in the county for years, and I just learned about this location yesterday! The woman who waited on us was super fast! At one point she brought out a fresh sheet of scallion ham rolls so I shared one of those with my sister in the car lol. Great variety, great service and very affordable! I only spent $25 on 10 items! I can’t recommend Wei Hong enough! Also, as far as savory food goes, the salt and pepper shrimp of everything!

Great Duck, hanging and ready when you walk in. Along with a selection of fresh pastries and really good dumplings.
Highly recommend

Pretty cool restaurant. Great Chinese food menu with a lot of vegetarian options. The wait time is about 15 minutes on a typical dinner to-go. The bakery has some amazing ham and egg baked rolls. The bakery kind of reminds of you of the options at the keloche factory with the fresh stuffed rolls. Also, the dine in area is very chill, round table setup, with a tv in the front. I recommend the vegetarian egg rolls. Great snack on the go.

ALL The bakery counter items are fresh, not stale or overly dense. I’ve tried 1 of everything in the case. Best fried potstickers I ever had . Even the sauce has a genuine pepper flake flavor. Giddyup.

Meat in pork buns are tangy, sour, and dyed red now for some reason. Olive Blvd. sister location makes them proper & has much larger selection of pastries.

I’ve been coming here for Dim Sum (weekends only) for a long time. The menu is clear, and easy to read, and I enjoy the variety of options available. Everything always tastes fresh and light, especially the pastries. Cozy interior and while I prefer coming in winter, summer is also excellent. I love seeing the ducks roast near the front door.

I moved away from the STL area 10 years ago and have lived in major cities in a couple other states. After moving, I found that no American Chinese food hits like St. Louis, it’s all so bland and flavorless. Back in town for a visit and got food from this place for the first time and WOW this may be the best Chinese food I’ve had. It’s everything I remember about STL Chinese food but better. I don’t usually get General Tso’s chicken because it’s basic but I was craving it and omg it was so good. It had a good amount of spice in a tangy sweet sauce that tasted nothing like your basic General Tso’s in the best way. My husband got bbq pork lo mein and it was also delicious with the best smoky sweet bbq pork. I will order from here any time I am back in town! I can’t wait to try their baked goods!

They did not have many pastries in the show case. They had maybe 4 different items in there. The woman behind the counter was really short with people that were ordering. Pretty much threw my receipt down and walked off. The pork was a bit salty, but the duck was good. We asked for extra sauce and she shouted at the guy who cut the pork but he didn’t put any extra in(we told her before we paid, and fully expected to pay for it, not asking to get them free), we didn’t notice until we got home, but that’s not something to go back to the restaurant for. All in all I would order the duck again, for sure.
