We were in town for the weekend working and needed a quick bite before the hectic day ahead. Popped down the road to weekenders and grabbed a sandwich from their grab and go and it was just what we needed.
We swung in on a Sunday when the grill was closed knowing that they would still have some grab and gos before we hit the road.
They were out of the chicken sandwich that I love. I popped over to the counter to ask if they were making any (they weren’t) but Tina (an absolute ROCKSTAR) whipped one up for me and made me feel like there was nothing she’d rather do. I’ve worked in the service industry for a LIFETIME and team members like Tina are really what makes a place shine!

Note, this is NOT a traditional “restaurant.” This is a fast food style restaurant located in a grocery store with a gas station combo. So don’t come for the atmosphere, unless you’re into that. They do have a small section of seating, but most of the interaction is via kiosk to order your food. That being said, I think it was a good value for money. They had an extensive value menu and many flexible options for food. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took three of our four kids and the environment was not very conducive for younger kids. But the food was substantial for the price. We found the food to be better than many fast food chains. A large grilled cheese with Texas toast was only $2. Mozzarella sticks we’re much larger than your average. This is a good grab and go, with ULTIMATE flexibility on any food item. You dream it, they’ll do it if they can. Great basic options for kids food though. Overall, great experience though. Made for a great stop.

I got the regular sized Spicy Cheese Curds, which I don’t know why I can’t find more places that do them because they are good, and the double dog. It was $7.07 with tax. The Spicy Cheese Curds are THE BOMB. The double dog (which is just a deal for 2 hotdogs) are pretty standard. I didn’t get any condiments on them because I wanted to see how the dogs come out and they were good. Pretty normal hot dogs. Price is reasonable for what you get. The staff are super nice. They have a pickup area but my food was done so fast that they just ran it out to me which was real nice. Will definitely come back.

The fried mushrooms were great tasting.
The staff was extremely friendly.
My issue is 5 regular fried mushrooms for $3. Had I known there were only 5, I wouldn’t have ordered them.
It’s also not very clear as to how long your order will take.

Just spoke with weekenders. I told them that momma was VERY disappointed with her burger. It was overcooked and dried out!!! She told me…”they only cook their burger one way”… yeah, inedible!!! She told me if I wasn’t happy “go ahead and post” we will never go back to weekenders!!!
