Had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Place is wayyyyy better than the rating. Everything made in house. Owner butches and grinds the meat himself. Fresh hand cut fries. They got malt shakes. I was so surprised by how great this place is. Definitely going back…third generation hopefully they will keep it going with love and pride that the current owner has!!

We love this place! The burgers are great, the buns are hand made in house, and the fries are awesome too. Prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 70s, they are always playing the classics on the radio. I’m always surprised at how empty it is. Support this local business because it’s honestly a great place to eat!

Food is amazing and the people are very polite and patient. I understand that good food takes time however for as long as it took to relieve our food I wish it had all been there we ordered almost 30 dollars worth of food and were missing a whole meal. Maybe more eyes on orders going out. Over all it was good and I appreciate those who deal with the public it is never easy.THANK YOU!

They say they have the best burger in Alaska I say they have the best burger in America hands down. They make everything including baking the buns from scratch. The staff are warm and make you feel very welcome. They should be the official ambassadors of food for Alaska. If your only in Anchorage for an hour spend it eating here you will be doing your taste buds a favor.

I live hours out of the city and when it’s time to come to Anchorage, this place is the only burger place I want to go to! Good prices and great food. Thanks!

Wee B’s is an iconic piece of south Anchorage history that has been serving people in need of a quick bite for generations. My recent visit in July demonstrated that the restaurant has experienced some changes, like fairly expensive food across the board (it was about $90 for four people’s meals, which was surprising) and delayed drive-thru service, but the food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Particularly, the milkshakes we had (strawberry and chocolate) were genuine and flavorful.
Inflation and other factors have influenced how the restaurant operates today. I recommend stopping by when you want to support local and when you can afford it. This is definitely not a regular stop if you want to be frugal; however, the food is good and the service is great. Thank you, Wee B’s!

This Burger joint was really good. Everything is freshly made from burger meat, buns, milk shakes, and chicken nuggies. All were good. the service was fast, and workers just needed to be more attentive. They messed up my brothers shake twice. Nonetheless, food was good.

The fries were soft and soggy. After waiting in line outside 10 minutes for fresh food youd think theyd be better. Burger was delicious until a bite with hair mixed in. Calling the manager she was not sorry, just made excuses rudely that hairnets are not required. Well maybe they should be if everyone has gross long hair going into food. Could at least apologize. Not admitting fault is a gross problem, especially in a manager. Oh so you dont even CARE THAT ITS GROSS, GOOD TO KNOW

I had the elk/buffalo burger and it was one of the best burgers in Alaska along with the homemade bun. There French fries are amazing because they have fresh potatoes there and are made with two ingredients. Anything you get at Wee Bees is going to be authentic and homemade.

The interior of the restauraunt was frankly nasty. The floors were extremely sticky, and there were flies all over the place. As soon as you walk in, there’s a glass display counter filled with old cans of soda. One of the cans had clearly ruptured and leaked down all over the others, and you could still see the foam trails from where it dripped down on the bottom and never got cleaned up. We dined in, and I spent the long wait looking at a big bucket of mystery sauce sitting lidless and unrefridgerated off to the side. My burger wasn’t anything special, and my wife’s chicken nuggets made her feel sick. She said it was too greasy. I know this place has some loyal followers, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why. The place looks like it’s best days are behind it, and I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen in the back looked like.
