Wee Bean Coffee Roasters in La Plata, MD is my new favorite coffee spot! Their coffee is expertly crafted, with a great selection of beans from Honduras, single origin coffee beans and around the world. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about coffee, which makes a huge difference. The atmosphere has good seating, making it perfect to relax and enjoy a cup. I love supporting local businesses that give back to the community. Highly recommend the pour-over coffee and lattes / seasonal lattes, everything looks and tastes top-notch!

The coffee here is really good. This place deserves a better review and it’s a free wifi connection away. It has comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The plants surrounding the outside patio are bug deterrents with a nice aroma. The aesthetics are pleasing and the space is adequate. The customer service was warm and inviting. If you’re a fan of lemon cake, try it! It’s really good.

First visit. All the food looked delicious, the employees were friendly and attentive, and the small cafe was cozy and welcoming. The only issue I take is with the “20 oz” option. Among our three beverages today, I ordered a 20 oz mocha latte at $7.50, more than Starbucks charges, and we knew immediately that it was light. Unfortunately, the addition of whipped cream decreased this to 15 oz, more than an inch below the rim, and I later measured the cup (the largest of the three available for purchase) and it could only hold 18 oz. Please be accurate in your measurements.

In addition to their delicious baked goods, danishes, and breakfast items, they offer an inclusive menu with gluten-free cookies, fresh fruit, and quinoa salad that can be perfect for different dietary needs.
The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful, with large windows, beautiful plants, and plenty of seating and charging ports, making it ideal for remote work or a relaxing weekend visit. Joey deserves special mention for his exceptional service because he’s always friendly, helpful, and checks in while I’m working to see if I need anything.
Quick service, spotless bathrooms, and a friendly environment make this a true five-star experience. Highly recommend this local gem!

I loved the Iced Honey Bee Shaken Espresso! Smooth flavor and not artificially sweet! Each element of the drink was well-made and well-balanced and the barista kindly answered my questions while he made it. Everything about this place is awesome and welcoming! Great service, cozy yet vibrant atmosphere with both indoor window seating and a relaxing outdoor patio. We’ve also purchased fresh beans to give as gifts for out-of-town friends! Please add a location on 210!

The service is fantastic! Everyone is friendly and welcoming to everyone. The coffee drinks are the best in the county. Food is really good, some prepackaged and some freshly made. My only complaint is that I wish it were bigger!

The people working there are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere feels heavy then the manager, Jason walked up front from the back and you could tell why the atmosphere was heavy. Jason chewed an employee out right in front of us and other customers. You don’t do that! Also, I was going to compliment the associate who waited on us and asked for the manager. The associate went to get him and he said he couldn’t be bothered, he was on his break. I was a manager for years,a d a real manager would talk to a customer any time they needed to speak to me. In .y opinion, Jason would not make a wart on a manager’s butt!

Mere moments after rating this place as 5 stars…..I’m modifying it. This isnt a post in retaliation or wanting anything for free. But I literally just reviewed this place and WOW maybe I better rethink. I ordered a Berries and Cream Cold Brew and was told that it didn’t come with the cold foam in the pic, I had to ask for it. (I ordered online, showed up 3-5 minutes after confirmed order completion time, not enough time for foam to vanish) when I said that that wasnt what was indicated online, the staff person pushed back (no angry tones, just a “no I’m right, you’re wrong” demeanor). She eventually said she’d get her manager (the manager okayed the cream/foam/stuff on top at no charge). Here’s the thing….maybe she WAS right and I WAS wrong. That would have been fine, but maybe offer me a solution (like “Ill add some for $1.20+ upcharge for you, here’s a cup, you’ll have to pour it on yourself” rather than just kind of standing there until it becomes awkward and a manager is retrieved). BUT as I’m waiting I saw the sandwich sign that clearly states it comes with all stuff on top in the pic. Additionally, the last time I was here my avacado toast had a ton of avacado skin (yuck) in it. It happens, things get messed up! I left a 5 star review AFTER the nasty-avacado-toast day so I’m not that hard to please. Generally I wouldn’t even complain(like I didn’t last time)! But why gaslight me about the foam? That’s what has me irritated. Photo attached shows how the drink is supposed to come. $7 for something I could make at home isn’t worth it when the reasons I go (service, ambiance) are ruined by lackluster attitudes.

I have been coming here since it was the OG coffee truck at the farmers market and realize I’ve never written a review! I can’t say enough good things about Wee Bean. The best coffee, most amazing baristas and staff, and the comfiest atmosphere. The staff is truly the best! They always get my order right and have memorized all my crazy orders by now! My current go to is a 16 oz hot latte with nonfat milk, half coconut syrup & half sugar free vanilla, and whipped cream on top—trust me it’s good.
