We are an independent, locally owned pizza shop located just about 100 yards away from the intersection of E North St and Haywood Rd. We offer generously topped pizzas made with only premium ingredients, along with sub sandwiches, wings and other comfort food. We have both convenient pick-up and speedy delivery service, and have been in business since the early 1980’s being one of Greenville’s very first pizza delivery places! Was our first visit to Wesgys, and it will not be the last. The dough here is delicious and has the perfect consistency. Crunchy and yet unbelievably soft. The cheese bread was rediculously cheesey in such a good way. The toppings were generously spread across the entire pizza. They had our order done even faster than the estimated time. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. We will be back for another pizza soon.

They’re open later than most places which is nice when you’re looking for a late night snack and the prices make it hard to want to go anywhere else. We visit Greenville a few times a year, and we wanted to try Wedgy’s because it’s a local restaurant to the area. I ordered a medium pizza with spinach and pepperoni. My partner got 16 mild wings. We also got some porkystix to try. We placed our order and it was ready within 5-10 minutes, which was awesome. We went and picked it up. Nichole, who made our order and cashed us out, was extremely nice and very professional. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza was really good and went well with the garlic butter sauce it comes with. The wings were delicious and there was plenty of sauce. The porkystix were amazing, too! They went very well with the marinara sauce that it came with. Overall, we were very impressed with this place and would definitely come here again!

Placed an order at 5:15 PM on a Saturday night for delivery. Understood its a Saturday, and delivery could be slow, no problem. Estimated delivery time was 6:05 PM. At 6:30 PM I called to let them know I hadn’t gotten the pizza yet, just wanted to see if they had an updated delivery time or if the pizza had gone out for delivery yet. Was told it had just gone out for delivery. Awesome, no worries, that will work. Called again at 7:00 PM to check on the status, and was told actually it hadn’t gone out yet, and was just then going out for delivery. Just frustrating

People say this, but I literally never write a review. I created this account so I can solely leave this review. I had been coming here for years, particularly because the pizza maker Brian who made exceptional food compared to his coworkers.
When the new owners took over, I was turned away from wedgys because they took away the carryout deals and it just showed signs of greed for it no longer being an American owned company. However, Brian still worked there and the pizza and Philly cheesesteaks were exceptional. Today I found out that guy was no longer working there and the way the remaining staff felt about him is that he caused trouble. however, he made food better than all of them.
There’s a guy named Charlie there. Apparently he had been there longer than Brian as he made the comment as if his food is better or the same, however, it is not.. I know this for a fact because just several weeks ago the name Charlie answered the phone and my Philly cheesesteak was delivered with the bread all hard. My soda was missing and even though they brought me 2 20 oz back I paid for a 2 liter. The bread is not supposed to be hard its Still supposed to be kind of soft.
Brian made my cheesesteaks perfect every time. I spent $100-$200 a week there often; this is no longer going to be revenue coming from me.. I looked at my pizza before I left today and it was just a pepperoni the easiest thing to make and my favorite here out of any pizza place until today. I just took a bite out of this pizza and it taste horrible you can see where the cheese was baked out of several spots, leaving just like little dried up sauce spots. Like when you bite into it, you can taste cheese, but it don’t taste the same and you can tell it’s because of how much cheese was wiped off the pizza.
While I was there the new owner was making four pizzas. She put cheese on four pizzas. She took her hand and rubbed it across all four pizzas, with gloves on, but she did this to wipe off any excess cheese. That is not how you make pizza you put cheese on you don’t keep wiping cheese off.
I mean, she really wiped off any excess cheese even the cheese that fell onto the board she put back into the cheese bin more signs of greed so now that the owner is making the pizzas she’s taking away the amount of cheese that they usually put on our pizzas and the ending result is a horrible taste in pizza.
The ice tea maybe it’s just this jug. It’s over brewed and under sugar a lot a lot over brewed and a lot less sugar than it should have in it and used to have in it.
I gotta say with Brian not being there anymore and I don’t know this guy personally at all so this is not some review to take up for him. I was just a customer who came in randomly and this was just the guy that always handed me exceptional food, and exceptional service.
The guy Charlie kinda has an attitude about him all the time even when it don’t look like he means to have an attitude, he comes off with an attitude. You don’t feel happy and good about buying food from Charlie..

I haven’t had their food in 14 years since I quit drinking, no more late night cravings. Ordered last week, the food came way before estimated time. It was still gooey!
