The food at this place is wonderful!!! I ordered delivery for the first time and thought it was very tasty, so I decided to go in person. Pleasant atmosphere and good quality service. The rice and the fish are very fresh and tender. I recommend it and will definitely come back again!!

Came here for an early dinner/late lunch with my friend and I’m so glad we tried it! The restaurant is super cute, clean, and has great space for seating (booth, table, and bar). The staff are super nice and friendly. We sat at the bar and the chef talked to us and added great energy to the space.

Each of us got a different roll and the fish is so fresh and delicious! I got some miso soup it was full of umami flavor and the best soft tofu pieces. The spicy edamame was so so so good! It has the perfect balance of salty, spicy, and garlicky flavors. They have an extensive menu full of food and drinks, I’ll definitely want to come back to try new items.

For me this spot definitely hits the sushi spot for me. A lot of the rolls are very consistent across whichever you may choose and is so delicious. Even their stuffed mushrooms are off the hook.

12/24/24 update: a few days ago, I literally had the best meal of my life here with friends. The salmon belly sashimi and nigiri are my absolute favorite ( I didn’t take a picture ), but I always get great service and it’s my all time favorite sushi restaurant. In my opinion, this is better than Kru, but the sushi boat I uploaded was amazing. I paid way less than I thought and Legend and the other chefs are amazing. I wouldn’t go to another sushi place if I have friends visiting. The hot sake is very reasonably priced and I love this place and the consistency. My review is still 5/5 and honestly it’s that freaking delicious so check it out. If you have a friend or family visiting, go here. But definitely gotta get the seared salmon belly sashimi or nigiri. Get a sushi boat and sake and enjoy!

Loved the staff they were very attentive, the food was excellent and I seriously can’t wait to go back.

Have the otoro nigiri it was amazing.

I sincerely hope this place never goes out of business, come here every time I can, my bf even loves the fries and said the rolls looked so good he considered trying one which for him is a big step.

Seriously you need to try this place give this local place you’re business.

I’ve had better in Stockton. To start the calamari, which cost $13.50, was cold, bland, hard, chewy, and you can tell it was frozen and not fresh. If it wasn’t frozen, it sure gave off the appearance, texture, and taste of it. The sushi rolls were decent but for 15.00 a roll I’d expect for them to be cut properly so they don’t fall apart when trying to rip them apart/separate them. Decent place, but way overpriced for the quality of the food. $45-$50 for everything you see in both pictures, you decide if you’d pay that much for it.

12/2023 came on Friday’s dinner, not too crowded, but seemed unstaffed. Waited a super long time for order and food. Panfried pot stickers were good. Griiled steak and udon were decent, not a big fan of the broth itself.

9/2023 Nice restaurant, great atmosphere, decent food, good service. Recommended. Parking with meters on the street. We ran out quickly just to realize free parking after 8pm on Thursday.

Good quality food. Service was great. The company was amazing. Plus, the owner, Ronnie, put the Niners game on. Whoot whoot! Inviting atmosphere. It’s not too large of a space so it feels cozy and welcoming.

Busy but manageable location in midtown (18th & J Street). Lots of street parking around with a nearby parking garage.

Be sure to visit Night Cap Bar right next door too. Small bar on the corner. Fun vibes & there’s a patio outside & a jukebox inside.

Made reservations there for after my daughter’s college graduation. Apparently they also planned a Christmas party the same night. We get told we either come in earlier and leave earlier or they would cancel our reservation. We felt rushed the entire night and felt more like an inconvenience to them, then an actual customer. The staff were just really unprofessional that day. To be honest the food was very good, I just can’t come to terms with the way we were treated for their convenience. It would have been entirely different if they would have contacted well before the graduation, we would have gone somewhere else, so we could actually have time to celebrate and visit with family that came in from out of town. Sometimes good food is not enough.

This is our go to sushi spot. I admittedly don’t know much about sushi, but it tastes good to me. They do have $5 saki bombs and those taste awful, they are amazing five stars.
