So excited to have this new spot in the neighborhood! This is the best bbq I’ve had since moving to NY from the south 5yrs ago.
I got the half chicken with collard greens and my husband got the ribs with mac & cheese. Everything was delicious but the mac & cheese and cornbread were standouts for me.

Ordered the beef brisket, one of the more expensive items, and it was dry and improperly cooked — tough enough that a serrated knife was needed. It came with cornbread and one small side; the collard greens were decent but overly soupy.
We also ordered the St. Louis–style ribs, which were juicier than the brisket, but the house BBQ sauce was genuinely bad and made the meat taste worse. The mac and cheese was extremely oily and separated, easily the worst version I’ve had.
I understand this is a new business, but a legit BBQ spot needs to get the fundamentals right from the start. Dry brisket, bad sauce, and poorly executed sides are major issues. Hopefully they improve with time, but based on this visit, it’s hard to recommend.

Finally went to the new bbq spot in the neighborhood and my husband and I were blown away. The food was beyond our expectations. The pulled pork was so tender and vinegary, the ribs were succulent, the cornbread was moist and just sweet enough. I could go on. We got the platter for 2 and it was so much food. Well worth the price. Also, toddler friendly with high chairs and kind workers who interacted with my baby. We will be coming here again.

Great new spot!! Food was amazing and service was top notch!! Brisket was tender and seasoned well (pairs perfect with their house bbq sauce tangy and delicious). Smoked half chicken was glazed with the bbq sauce and cooked perfectly literally falling off the bone! Sides we had were coleslaw, yams, and seasoned fries, Mac n cheese, all also really good! Also tried the fresh passion fruit and pina colada drinks, fresh and yummy!! Can’t wait to come back!

The burgers are good. I wish it came with fries instead of having to pay for fries separately.
$22 just for the burger alone seems excessive.

I am not giving 1 star bcs i dont want to ruin the rating on Google but this place needs some work done especially the food and i know the owner put a lot of time money and effort into it and its probably the best thing on the area rn with some improvement happily to remove the review afterwords

has a weird aftertaste like a burnt rubber idk how to explain it deffinetly not pleasant maybe its the mayo they use idk
Mac and cheese
Deffinetly needs work done its oily mushy flavorless not hot and again a weird aftertaste maybe keep the mac and cheese slightly undercooked and then place it in the oven before bringing it out with a crisp layer on top so its worth the 14$ price tag not a 1$ price tag
Potato
They are actually very good but that sauce/gravy they use is too sweet deffinetly needs some work on that department
Brisket
Good rub and taste but a little too dry but not bad maybe the way its stored needs adjusting so it doesn’t lose juices
Dessert (stop bringing them on plastic containers) taste is great just the way its presented
Service
The place is new and the staff is friendly but too fake they need to loosen up and be more them self bcs ppl notice nice from fake just be you no script needed especially for this neighborhood where most ppl know each other
Atmosphere is good especially the decor
This could easily be the place for ppl to go yo since the bar next door is in the verge of closing down
