We got carry out shortly before close. We got a pound of brisket, wings, Mac, green beans, baked beans and cobbler. I thought the brisket was good but not great, maybe would have been better earlier in the day but as shown in picture it had to have been way more than a pound. My wife refused to eat it, so I didn’t get to try the wings but she liked them a lot. All three of the sides were not very good and the cobbler was pretty good. Green beans just simply needed some salt. The sauces were good. The massive heaping amount of brisket given really saved my review here. I think we will come back for lunch some time and give it another try and maybe go with fries and Cole slaw

The smoked wings were amazing and I loved the hickory BBQ sauce. The brisket was tender but dry, cheese on the mac and cheese was separated and had a weird texture, the green beans were mushy and severely under seasoned I don’t even even think salt was on them. I’m not a sweets person but my husband really liked the blueberry cobbler. I will definitely be back for the wings!

I came here with a dinner already planned at home, but ended up leaving with a dozen wings, a rack of ribs, Mac and cheese and two cobblers. WOW. The service was so good and the food was even better. Highly recommend you try their food asap, specifically the smoked wings, ribs, and Mac and cheese. I can’t wait to go back for more.

Was excited to finally check this place out. I often smell the smoker going while getting coffee in the morning and that smell is irresistible. Got in about 7:30, so the pulled pork was the only meat left. Flavor was a nice balance of meat and smoke/rub. More importantly, it was melt in your mouth tender. It went great with the vinegar sauce. The cornbread was ok, but not my favorite ever.
Met the owner and he was friendly as can be and sent us home with an extra red Ale 8 for the kids to try.
Prices were very reasonable. For two of us we it was $20 for a platter that had us getting a to go box.
My only gripe is likely a selfish one and that’s the dining hours only being on Friday.

I was working remotely with a co-worker in Newport today and suggested Webb’s for lunch. I’m already a fan, but it was the first time visiting for my Cincy colleague. We had the brisket and the smoked and breaded wings. Everything was tasty and delicious- I especially loved the collard greens today which were seasoned perfectly. The overall vibe is casual and authentic with a warm sense of community. Regulars were popping in and out raving about their Friday cravings as they placed and picked up their orders. Joe, Leslie and the team never disappoint! Friendliest and most welcoming hosts in the neighborhood. Needless to say, my co-worker is also now a fan.
