Cassie was an absolute rockstar of a server—always popping by at just the right moment to keep our drinks full, even with our larger group. The appetizers were perfectly portioned for sharing, which set the tone for a great night, and dinner hit the table right on cue after we finished the apps. Thank you for hosting our dinner club and making the evening smooth, fun, and delicious from start to finish!

The food was amazing. My server was great. Just waited a long time to get my food. But it was worth it.

At the WD Bar and Grill, we initially had a frustrating experience waiting for a server for 40 minutes, which led us to leave. However, they later called us to apologize for the inconvenience and offered us a free meal. During our next visit, their impressive plating skills and great hospitality, along with attentive servers, made for an unforgettable experience. The perfectly seasoned scallops, the best risotto I’ve ever had, and the fantastic prime rib made the meal well worth it.

Having dined at Niagara Falls, I can now compare that experience to the hospitality at Buffalo Creek Casino. I must say that Buffalo truly cares about its customers and genuinely wants you to return. No offense to Niagara Falls, but I find the food in Buffalo more enjoyable. The WD Bar and Grill offers a greater variety of appetizers and entrées, enhancing the overall dining experience. Their Seafood Thursdays and various random specials provide excellent options. Additionally, the prices in Buffalo are significantly better. Although I didn’t pay for anything during my visit, I noticed that you get much more for your money in Buffalo compared to Niagara Falls, making the food more satisfying.

Thank you, WD Bar and Grill, for enhancing your hospitality and transforming our dining experience! A special thanks to Kelly, the restaurant manager, and Sam for their outstanding service. I also want to express my gratitude to the kitchen staff for preparing such memorable dishes. Even though we can’t see everything happening behind the scenes, it’s clear that there is a great team working hard back there. My mom and I truly appreciate all of you, and we will definitely come back again.

I didn’t just eat here—I went on a Notre Dame-style playoff run with cutlery. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was entering the tunnel at Notre Dame Stadium: the lights dim, the crowd roaring (internally), the scent of seared greatness wafting through the air like hope in October. The maître d’ didn’t greet me—he handed me a playbook. I wasn’t seated—I was lined up in I-formation. And brother, I was about to run the gauntlet.

The wine? A 2018 cabernet so smooth and confident, it could start at quarterback and run Marcus Freeman’s entire offense with one swirl. Rich, commanding, and probably able to recruit a 5-star linebacker just by breathing near him.

Then came the steak—and let me be clear: this wasn’t food, it was a statement win. It hit the table with the power of a Howard Cross III sack and the elegance of Sam Hartman dropping dimes in a snowstorm. Medium rare, seasoned like it studied film, and so tender it canceled my dentist appointment. This steak didn’t just melt in my mouth—it called audibles and walked into the end zone. Joe Alt would’ve protected it with his life.

The risotto? Creamier than a freshman walk-on’s dreams. Smooth, rich, and disciplined—Al Golden would put this risotto on third down. The oysters? Briny, bold, and faster than Xavier Watts breaking on a slant route. I swear one of them whispered “Go Irish” as I ate it.

Then came the carrots—and I need you to hear me when I say this: these carrots were Heisman-caliber. Roasted to divine sweetness, glazed like they were prepping for the NFL Combine. These were Drayk Bowen in vegetable form: intense, built different, possibly sentient.

By dessert, I was a puddle. The waiter brought me a warm towel and simply said, “Marcus Freeman believes in you.” And in that moment, I did too.

Soup and salad were good; But our entrees were terrible!! Prime rib was cold and filet was so overcooked it was dry. The asparagus was so overcooked it was mushy. Brought it to the servers attention and she gave us a free dessert??? What?? I again explained how disappointing it was since we had a wonderful experience at the Niagara Falls location and she just said that our food was over cooked and another tables was undercooked and laughed. Very disheartening to spend $250 on dinner and have it suck. Will not visit again.

Very much left to be desired. Food, let’s break this down
French onion soup was so over salty it wasn’t eatable
Fresh Berry salad was actually the star of the dinner with great dressing
Chicken Melanese was well cooked but had almost zero flavor.
The service left much to be desired but that was just our server.

Have you seen the billboard for the thrusday night seafood specials? I did! I love seafood, so I decided to try it out. I booked my reservations online. The service, food, and drinks were great. I had the $25 crab legs, and boy, were they delicious. I will definitely return again. FYI, the specials are only running to a limited time during the summer.

First timer – WD did NOT disappoint. Started with the seafood deluxe for 2. A must try. Everything fresh and firm with dipping sauces. Bonus was the tuna sashimi at the top. Entree was scallops over truffle risotto..perfectly cooked.
Water was always filled and waitstaff checked in but wasn’t hovering. Kudos to the chef and servers. A really enjoyable evening.

On the south side of the casino. Entrance was closed when we were there, had to enter through the casino and was escorted since we had someone underage. The casino is not smoke free and you could smell it in the restaurant. Our server was Damen, serving for three years. Excellent server, beyond super average. He takes anything thrown at him with a smile and goes with the flow in a conversation. WD is very fortunate to have him. Many different customized butter with bread. Food is well presented and highly recommended.

12/23 update: I visited on wednesday to try the new menu and things were very interesting.. a lot of it sounds promising. I got the new burrata salad & it was new to me but sounded really good, I’ve never had burrata or prosciutto. Salad was a bit overdressed but that’s fine bc I really liked the dressing, the burrata was very creamy. The basil oil was my fav part of the meal. Actually Ashley was the highlight of my dining experience, she has the best customer service and comes to the table a good amount of times, she even got me mint & lemon for my water bc I’m extra. Appreciate your service! Also the prev manager has returned so it was nice seeing someone stop by tables to check in. There’s no more of the few different butters for the bread, they used to be really good. The pancakes here are the best.

6/23 Update: WD is under new management, unwelcoming atmosphere and the new manager is rude, racist towards myself and my other guests. Waitress’s are sweet though!

Everything is amazing!! The service was excellent and the food was tasty, got the Buffalo cauliflower and I love the truffle fries! The whole staff is nice, A breathtaking view from the best patio in town! I love when the fire places are lit up and the heaters are on so you can relax outside in the lounge area without being cold.
