Reviews
Having dined at Niagara Falls, I can now compare that experience to the hospitality at Buffalo Creek Casino. I must say that Buffalo truly cares about its customers and genuinely wants you to return. No offense to Niagara Falls, but I find the food in Buffalo more enjoyable. The WD Bar and Grill offers a greater variety of appetizers and entrées, enhancing the overall dining experience. Their Seafood Thursdays and various random specials provide excellent options. Additionally, the prices in Buffalo are significantly better. Although I didn’t pay for anything during my visit, I noticed that you get much more for your money in Buffalo compared to Niagara Falls, making the food more satisfying.
Thank you, WD Bar and Grill, for enhancing your hospitality and transforming our dining experience! A special thanks to Kelly, the restaurant manager, and Sam for their outstanding service. I also want to express my gratitude to the kitchen staff for preparing such memorable dishes. Even though we can’t see everything happening behind the scenes, it’s clear that there is a great team working hard back there. My mom and I truly appreciate all of you, and we will definitely come back again.
The wine? A 2018 cabernet so smooth and confident, it could start at quarterback and run Marcus Freeman’s entire offense with one swirl. Rich, commanding, and probably able to recruit a 5-star linebacker just by breathing near him.
Then came the steak—and let me be clear: this wasn’t food, it was a statement win. It hit the table with the power of a Howard Cross III sack and the elegance of Sam Hartman dropping dimes in a snowstorm. Medium rare, seasoned like it studied film, and so tender it canceled my dentist appointment. This steak didn’t just melt in my mouth—it called audibles and walked into the end zone. Joe Alt would’ve protected it with his life.
The risotto? Creamier than a freshman walk-on’s dreams. Smooth, rich, and disciplined—Al Golden would put this risotto on third down. The oysters? Briny, bold, and faster than Xavier Watts breaking on a slant route. I swear one of them whispered “Go Irish” as I ate it.
Then came the carrots—and I need you to hear me when I say this: these carrots were Heisman-caliber. Roasted to divine sweetness, glazed like they were prepping for the NFL Combine. These were Drayk Bowen in vegetable form: intense, built different, possibly sentient.
By dessert, I was a puddle. The waiter brought me a warm towel and simply said, “Marcus Freeman believes in you.” And in that moment, I did too.
French onion soup was so over salty it wasn’t eatable
Fresh Berry salad was actually the star of the dinner with great dressing
Chicken Melanese was well cooked but had almost zero flavor.
The service left much to be desired but that was just our server.
Water was always filled and waitstaff checked in but wasn’t hovering. Kudos to the chef and servers. A really enjoyable evening.
6/23 Update: WD is under new management, unwelcoming atmosphere and the new manager is rude, racist towards myself and my other guests. Waitress’s are sweet though!
Everything is amazing!! The service was excellent and the food was tasty, got the Buffalo cauliflower and I love the truffle fries! The whole staff is nice, A breathtaking view from the best patio in town! I love when the fire places are lit up and the heaters are on so you can relax outside in the lounge area without being cold.
