Veggies tempura is always the best among all sushi restaurants I love. It always tastes fresh, which means they monitor their oil quality very closely. Proper amount of batter. I tried the awesome roll for the first time and love it. It is a perfect match with tempura because it is spicy and garlicky and sour. Perfect balance. It’s great to have with hot green tea in winter, too. Love it. Staff are always super friendly. Great place for big group, small group, or by yourself.

Just moved to Hacienda Heights, Ca, and decided to hit up a sushi spot. I was completely impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the sushi rolls. I got take out and the rolls still tasted fresh and delicious. I could tell from the Taste this place uses good high grade ingredients. The price was reasonable and affordable for the quality. I ordered north shore, baked salmon, and tiger roll, All 3 were Bomb.com. I’ve tried sushi in different states and cities, and I could confidently say that Wazabi Sushi is a solid solid restaurant.! Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.

This place is awesome! They have a great happy hour with great options at affordable prices. You can spend less than $40 and have a great meal for 2. The food is delicious!! My husband and I have been eating here since they’ve opened and with the previous owners. We never leave disappointed. We love Wazabi combo #2 on happy hour, we get 2 rolls, and appetizers for $26. It’s a steal!! You have to try this place. You will not be disappointed.

I’m always on the search for good sashimi restaurants in the 626. This time, I discovered this spot, which is located in a small plaza in Hacienda Heights. The chef here creates sashimi platters using the freshest seafood that day, and I also love their wide variety of sushi rolls they offer. Definitely recommend this hidden gem!!

First time here and the food was good! The inside was small and kinda crowded with tables right next to each other. Making no space to walk around or get to the bathroom. The baked lobster dynamite roll was really oily and it didn’t come with any rice at the bottom. Just crab imitation meat. It was kinda a mess but did taste good. My favorite was probably the fried squid legs. The sauce was amazing and perfect of spicy. Definitely enjoyed it.

I called in to make sure they weren’t busy. I Got the sashimi platter and chirashi bowl. Sadly it was the same kind of fish. If I knew.. I wouldn’t have ordered the sashimi platter. Overall the food was pretty good. Price was a bit high for the rolls. Parking wasn’t too hard.
