This is the first time I’ve gone here and not be happy with my order. I ordered a chef salad and one piece of fish. My fish was small, super hard, tasted a little burnt, and salty. My salad portion was much smaller than usual but of good quality.

Found this place through a Google search. I drove up and it looked closed, but lights were on and I could see one person side at a table, so I went to the door. They were open. The young girl at the table was an employee. She was very nice. I ordered the chicken fried with French fries and salad. The lady asked if I wanted brown gravy or white. I said brown. My salad was served first which I really like. Then my entree was brought out. It was chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and covered in white gravy. I didn’t really mind because I prefer mashed potatoes, I just didn’t know it was an option. The white gravy was good as was the rest of the food. I’d come back.

Very good service and food served here. This was my first visit. Based on what I had and experienced, I will stop again. The prices were very good and the portions also good. It’s a small place but friendly and clean. If your taste is running towards fine dining, you should probably look elsewhere. If you are looking for good food at reasonable prices with friendly service, this is the place to go.

The food is good, the servers are great. We didn’t have cash and my husband used a credit card to pay for the meal, the server told him not to bother adding a tip on the credit card slip because she said the owner would not give the servers the tip. He keeps it. That irritated us enough that IF we go back, we will make sure to bring cash next time so that we can tip those poor servers.
