So glad to have found a place for shuffleboard in Brownwood. Great place to meet friends and have a drink. We didn’t eat anything while we were there, so can’t comment on food. They have pool tables, electronic darts and other electronic games around the perimeter.

I have been there twice alone, I love it. People are nice and I have met a few really sweet guys. I’ve never been hassled and always have fun. I am from L.A., people are great here and the music pretty good for a small town. Wish they would have Mason Donica, the best guitar player east of California. Plenty of other places to go, but I like it here and a couple other places. I don’t drink or smoke but love to hear live music. Attitude is everything. Adapt or perish. LOL

Good drink prices, mixed crowd. Has pool, jukebox, shuffle board and a outside area. The atmosphere lively.
Major complaint is the temperature it was so hot inside. Sweating in min. of being there. It was not enjoyable to be sweating and sitting in stagnant air while trying to visit and drink with friends. It was nicer outside.

Clean bar, very friendly staff…kandlelynn was especially attentive, spunky and kind. The ranch water was refreshing. Shuffleboard table needs some attention and the games took my money, but that’s the way gambling goes!

I just want these great people that own and work at Waylon and Rays know that I’ve had the best of times in here…Every time I’ve been there it’s been nothing but relaxing and enjoyable…We have lots of fun here…I do recommend this place if your out and about…Five stars for me…..

Tonight was my first time to visit Waylons and Ray’s! Such a cool atmosphere! Everyone was very kind and the bartender (can’t remember her name) was amazing! She was always checking on us, recommended some amazing drinks, and had a great personality that drew you in!

Great place . Ice cold frozen beer on tap. Lots of people. Only one thing I would ask if it was darker not so bright. My experience for years in going out to bars, the darker bars seem to draw more people and last for ever. Best place in Brownwood.

14 dollars for a pitcher of coors? At Waylons? Doubt I’m ever coming back the only thing that kept me there was the low prices and now that’s gone I’m done with this place. It’s musty and the crowd that is attracted to the place is ever only dirty old men and creeps. That and now they want 14 for a pitcher? I’m sorry bud but I just have to laugh that’s pathetic. If I’m paying that much I’m going somewhere with a better atmosphere, somewhere that feels safer for women and doesn’t look like a shed you would skin a deer in.

“Up and comming”.. the manager and bartender were both friendly and the atmosphere was exactly what small town texas is drawn to.. music for all genres.. we left to early to see a ton of costumes but it would have been fun if we could have stayed.
