Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.I’ve been here a couple times, usually stopping in after workouts. Unfortunately, my recent experience completely changed my perspective and I’m never coming back
I ordered a wrap through the app and realized afterward that I hadn’t removed the farro as I normally do that part was my mistake. I brought the wrap back completely untouched and politely asked if it could be remade. I understood that if the order was technically made correctly, they may not be obligated to remake it. I simply wanted to ask.
Instead, the employee opened the wrap, threw it away, and told me there was nothing they would do. At one point I was told I might receive a refund, only for that to be reversed moments later. The situation was handled in a dismissive and unprofessional manner.
If the policy is that correctly made orders cannot be remade, that could have been communicated respectfully from the beginning. Throwing the food away and refusing to offer any reasonable solution was unnecessary.
I’ve traveled and eaten at many places, and I’ve never experienced customer service like this. There are many establishments in Providence that treat customers with courtesy and respect. I would recommend considering those options instead.

They had me at “no ice or water to water down the smoothie”!
We recently moved our office to the area and it was my first time at Wayland Fresh. Had the Island Fresh smoothie with vanilla protein and spinach. When I asked how the smoothie would be made and they said “no ice or water to water down the smoothie”. They had me at that point. So many smoothie shops water down their smoothies, and I so this little differentiator means a lot. That’s exactly what I was looking for and the taste was on point!
Moreover, they are donating funds back to the community to causes like the RI Food Bank and Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation. Givers gain. Love it!

I spoke with the owner hoping for resolution, but the response was just as confrontational and dismissive as the initial interaction. There was no accountability or attempt to resolve the issue.
Customer service reflects leadership, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this business.

Don’t eat here!!! Major national food, safety, guideline, violations!!!! Managers confrontational, 14 years in the industry, and Teaching national food safe course… they blocked off, access to the hallway leading to public restroom which is mandatory that they allow access to when there is dining and sit down option….. they also had approximately an eight year old walking around the kitchen with no national food safe gear no hat or gloves grabbing food from the walk-in bring it to the front and the manager tried to tell me it’s okay as there’s no grill or frier in the kitchen. This is false no one under the age of 18 and only with consent of a parent may work in a kitchen….. there is no other way around it…..

Nice and clean establishment. I ordered an Island Fresh and it was good. My only concern is when I payed with my card the machine is defaulted to give an 18% tip which I did not catch until after I authorized the payment. I find that a little deceptive especially when the receipt doesn’t give you the grand total of what you paid. I also find it a little redundant because there is a tip box as well in front of register. I am not against tipping. I’ve worked in food service for more than 10 years. I lived on it, but I earned it on hard effective work and not from a default setting. I just think that setting should change on the machine. Ultimately it’s not too big a deal. I didn’t expect to tip since it was my first time there and wanted to try it out. If I was a repeat customer and developed a good rapport with servers I then would be very much willing to tip. I love good service.
