During this visit, I was served by a tall young Asian man whose behavior was shockingly rude from the outset. As I always do, I confirmed whether the meat was halal before placing my order. I explicitly requested no bacon on the burger, and also ordered a Philly cheesesteak, chicken tenders, and a large portion of fries as a to go order.
When I went to collect my food, the server literally threw the bag at me without a word. I noticed the fries were missing and politely asked about them. Without any apology, he snatched the bag from me, returned to the kitchen, and handed it back — still without a word of explanation.
Once I got home, I was appalled to discover that the burger contained bacon — despite my clear request. The cheesesteak had a sour, off-putting smell, and the chicken tenders were an embarrassingly small portion of just four tiny pieces.
I called immediately to address the issue, and the same server dismissed my concerns by saying, “We only have one chef today.” There was no apology, no attempt at resolution. When I reiterated that I had clearly asked for no bacon and could have chosen not to order had they been understaffed, he responded dismissively and hung up on me.
This experience was not just unprofessional — it was deeply disrespectful. As someone who relies on halal food for religious reasons, this kind of negligence and disregard is unacceptable. I will never be returning, and I strongly advise others to consider the seriousness of such careless service before dining here.
Now this burger and my money is in the trash.
This place clearly has a new manager and it isn’t going well just look at the last two months reviews. Sad part is he is the one who appears to have the most complaints.
We ordered a chicken BLT and onion rings and my husband ordered a burger.
After waiting more than 15 mins for my order. No joke, we went to Sabborros while I was waiting got pizza for my daughter she finished it and we were still waiting. I thought well at least it will be fresh.
NO…….The chicken BLT had no bacon.
The chicken had been sitting around in a holding tray full of oil and was soggy and limp and that was after the burnt it while cooking. You can imagine how that tasted. The onion rings were cold and inedible. I got a tower of onion rings all stuck together that no body had bothered to shake apart while they were cooking along time ago.
The best part was when I went to ask for my money back. The person that came to the counter told he had to call the manager. Five mins later he returned and I was told he could replace my meal but he couldn’t refund it. I said let me get this straight you have keys to this place and can close it but you aren’t authorized to give a customer a refund. He nodded. He then told me they had a new manager.
Having previously worked in the industry in upper management I have seen managers run stores into the ground time and time again some never recover. I would suggest the owner A.S pay a little more and get a real manager. One who can train his staff and empower them to make customers happy.
