Interesting place. I don’t like having to use a screen to order, and actually I couldn’t even order what I wanted to on the screen, but an employee helped me out and was even friendly about it, which I appreciated.
The burger was delicious, though the bun didn’t hold up too well by the end. The fries were okay; some were pretty soft. The onion rings were delicious.
The shake was… I’m not sure what. I got an Oreo shake and both me and my friend tried it because it was weird. We weren’t sure what was weird about it, it just tasted *off.* I thought maybe it tasted like powdered milk? My friend said it was like hairspray but without the alcohol. It was a decent shake aside from this odd off-ness. I wonder if the other shakes also taste weird but I don’t know that we’ll be back to find out.

Cons:

• No little cups for the fry sauce!

Delicious food! Can taste the freshness. We had the Cajun burger, my husband loved it so much ordered a second one. Said similar to lucky 13. I had the cheese single. Both really good! The service and owner are great.

A few weeks ago, the manager/owner gave me a card for a free burger in the Smiths parking lot. I thought I would try it out tonight. Dawson met me at the register. I gave him my order and asked for the cajun marmalade on one side of the bun, and the cajun mayo on the other side of the bun, he said, okay. I presented the card and paid the difference of what my order was about fifteen minutes later he delivered my burger and asked for a penny because my total was $4.99, and I said, just give me a five and I’ll get you a penny out of my truck. Needless to say The burger was not made as I ordered and with his attitude I decided to give it back to him. And get my $5 back plus his penny, I gave him. I noticed the table of four next to me a nice family husband-wife and 2 kids that their order was not to their liking and the manager or the person in charge gave them free food in an effort to correct the order. The place wasn’t very busy when I went in and a few more people came in after me with call in orders perhaps. Based on the looks of the burger, I don’t think I would go back there ever again. I really didn’t get a chance to taste it….so I don’t know….. What it tasted like, it looked pretty dry, though….

Searched for something different and found a review about the Burger and RED VELVET SHAKE!!! This place is new. Great food. Great service and was a real find.
Highly recommend this cute restaurant. We will be returning just for the food alone.

Coke products. No Dr Pepper. They have Coke Zero but not diet Coke.
This place has yummy burgers. There are several specialty creations but you can build your own. I had the bourbon bacon. It was tasty and not over sauced. My husband had the A1 Steakhouse burger. Tasty and not over sauces. Both burgers were double patties. Single pattie would be just fine for me in the future, husband wants the double.
We also had the tater tots. Crispy and delicious. They have fry sauce and ketchup available for all, but there are several sauce options for burgers you could get for your fries or tots. Their house special Wayback Gold is bbq+mustard.

Walked in just cause it was close and I’m glad I did.. the burger was fantastic and the fries are so so good. I will say I didn’t care for the tots. The fried pickles are very good. The chicken tenders were very very tasty. We finished off with the cinnamon toast crunch shake and it was good. The service was great, dude was super friendly but being that I am a little hard of hearing I do wish he would have been a little louder speaking. Overall it may not be gourmet but it sure is backyard grilling and I love it

Food is made to order so it takes a bit of time (not a fast food joint). The chicken tenders do not look like much but they are some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had (they look like they would be dry and and but they are actually juicy on the inside and so we’ll seasoned). The fries that come with the tenders are not very good though, they are not seasoned well enough and taste bland. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean. I like that they call your order out by your name instead of a number

Loved my dinner at Wayback! The place was empty at 3pm, and the service was a little slow. But the meal is made to order, and it takes a while to cook chicken. So it was worth it! Had the Spicy Melt, which had a good amount of heat, and Garlic Romano fries. Great serving size. My wife had a Grilled Chicken BLT with plain fries. I’d recommend the seasoned fries over plain. Also tried a fried pickle side. Delicious!! I’ve paid a lot more money for worse burgers. These were fantastic! Can’t wait to return.

Always on the hunt for new and upcoming places . Stopped off for lunch, no wait, I think we were the first customers of the day. Ordering kiosk to order food greeted us, but the manager offered to take our order and was very nice. We tried the kiosk but was not too clear so we ordered from the counter. She.was pleasant. We got our food pretty quick and to be honest, was expecting more of a wow, then a ho hum another hamburger place. The food was ok, the fries and onion rings were pleasant. But, nothing seemed to make it unique in the burger market. The atmosphere was just another chow hall with no real personality, and the service people there were really nice and professional. The price point was lower than a lot of the other burger places. I am also never a fan of places that expects tips to order from the counter, seat ourselves and clean up after ourselves. #notipfornoservice
