This place is the only reason my electric car would be parked at a gas station.
Wayback Burgers came out swinging. I saw a post on instagram and was shocked it was around the corner and not somewhere in downtown Dallas or the stockyards. They’re big, fresh smash burgers that actually hit, plenty of side options like cheese fries, tots or curds and milkshakes so good they should come with a warning label. One sip turns into “why didn’t I order two.”
If you’re on a diet, keep driving. This place will ruin it without remorse. I should have worn my sweat pants.
Yeah, it’s inside a gas station, but once that food hits the table, nothing else matters. The food smacks. Hard.
10/10. I’ll be back… battery charged, appetite not. ⚡️

First, The stinch of this place when I walked through the door smelled like bad meat! I should’ve known then but it was a carry out order.
I couldn’t get that smell out of my nose for hours.
The hotdogs were hard a chewy. My burger was cold and had no flavor.

I was very surprised on how good the classic burger is. The flavor is something I haven’t tasted in years. Very nice staff. Burger is made fresh to order. Good fries. The self serve drink station is a gas station type without ice tea.

This place is pretty consistent and the food is tasty. The atmosphere is an old rugged gas station but they keep it decently clean on the Wayback side. The service is always okay. Nothing too crazy but not a bad burger if you’re nearby and want to try it out.

They were friendly but the menu prices do not include fries and drink. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders and they were roughly the size of McDonald’s chicken nuggets and I paid almost $8 for that… Trash! First time and last time there.

Food was great! We were the only ones there ( mid afternoon around 3:30) but the staff hopped up when we got there and made our order. Totally worth waiting a bit, burgers were great and cheese curds were excellent. Definitely save room for a shake!!

I found this place from an ad in IG and the food looked good, but when we showed up and saw it was a gas station I was very skeptical. Well now I know that some of the best burgers are from gas stations! These babies were delicious, perfectly cooked and perfectly stacked!
Very good fried pickles! They’re thick and juicy!
I tried a classic and regular fries. For a traditional burger and fries it was phenomenal! Tons of cheese, very well seasoned and juicy beef the burger had everything going for it. The fries were crispy hot and salted just right. This place is a bit far for me but I will not mind one but trekking here for such great food! Kudos to the crew cooking because since everything is made fresh everything was all in their care and they performed!
