I don’t even know where to begin. The food was fine. Typical. A bit too greasy. But this location has clearly not been cleaned in many days or even weeks. We arrived 25min after opening. The floors were sticky, covered in crumbs, the corners hd caked-on dirt. The doors had a layer of dirt on the bottom part where shoes likely dragged in snow slush. The salt and pepper shakers and napkin holder looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently at all. This is simply unacceptable for a dining establishment.

Very delicious, owners are very friendly. Had the cinnamon toast crunch shake, very delicious. Cheese curds were super yummy. Chili cheese fries were home made and stellar. Will gladly come again!

Immediately when you walk in, there a super clean menu is big and bolt. You know everything that’s going on when it’s time to order the staff couldn’t be nicer. They are awesome top-tier folks. The cajan burger i had is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and there is huge customization options available to make a burger JUST how you like it.
10/10 would highly recommend

Stopped by Wayback Burgers around 7:30 PM on a Sunday. The place was clean and nearly empty — just two other tables were occupied. The atmosphere was calm, and the cashier was polite, helpful, and asked the right clarifying questions when taking the order. I got the Steakhouse Burger ($10) and the Beef Hot Dog ($8). Sadly, the taste was extremely disappointing. The burger was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had — everything from the bun to the sour-tasting sauce just didn’t work. Same story with the hot dog — greasy, off-putting flavor, and not enjoyable at all. I finished the food, but definitely not with pleasure. Also, $3 for a soda here feels like too much considering the overall food quality. No complaints about the staff — they were fine — but if this is the usual standard, I won’t be returning.

Dirty and Gross. Drink station was a mess. Floors and tables sticky. The bathroom was disgusting. My cheese fries were cold and the cheese was hard on the fries. Customer service was fine just wish staff could keep the place clean. Had buyers regret after eating here. First time customer last time coming here. Telling the family to avoid this place.

I got the way back box with fries and a drink and a side of fried pickles, the burger was good can’t say anything bad about it, fries were really good, fried pickles as well. Our server talked to us through out the meal asking questions for better community outreach and advertising to ensure their small business stays afloat. They’ve been in this location now for 4 years.

The food was tatsey… although messed up our sides… like each person’s was on the next tray over and my son’s burger was wrong. They re-made his but only after the lead cook or someone came out with the ticket to tells us how it wasn’t their fault, that it was entered wrong. Which ok, but we didnt enter it and the lady who ended the order even read it back. So…

Wayback is amazing!! Several places have such high prices and small portions, but Wayback gives you great bank for your buck. While lots of burgers are around 14 dollars, Wayback’s burgers are around 7. A HUGE deal. Also, other places usually give you so much fries, where you’re left with more than you can eat. Wayback gives you the perfect amount of fries. Not too little that you want more, but not too much that you’re overwhelmed. Also, their service is amazing! Every time I go, everyone is so kind. They’re not being nice just because they have to be. Everyone is very genuine and actually wants to put a smile on your face. The atmosphere that they create makes you want to come back more than the food, and the food is DELICIOUS. I recommend this place so much. Definitely my favorite burger spot.

Amazing smash burger cooked to perfection! We had fries and tater tots which were crispy and salted perfectly. Washed everything down with a thick oreo shake. Such a cute owner/operator couple and friendly staff. Please keep them in mind when you don’t feel like cooking and for any catering needs. Highly recommend!
