If you like Five Guys but don’t want to spend $25 per person, Wayback is an excellent substitute. Imagine if BurgerFi and Wingstop (on the french fry and seasoning side) had a baby, you would have Wayback. Sir Mix-a-lot would love the burgers here because they are real thick and juicy. The fries taste remarkably like Wing Stop’s, which I love. I had the Bourbon burger, which apart from the bourbon mustard (my personal tastes did not care for it – a little over powering), was delicious. Cajun tots very good too (again, seasoning tasted like Wing Stop).

We decided to give this a try after the other 2 places I went for my wife’s birthday dinner were closed early with no posted change.
We got the single cheeseburger box with fries and double cheeseburger box with tots.
The pricing was very reasonable, would take it over 5guys most days. The food was prepared relatively quickly. Brought it home to eat.
I was a little surprised at the amount of fries given (filled up the box) for an $8 box versus the amount of tots given (looks like 10?) in the $10 double box.
Food was good. Decent burger for sure. Would get again.

I spent $9 on a large cheese curd to receive the same size as a small/regular. I called to inform them and they said that was the correct size. Why is this $9 and most of them the cheese is missing.

Service and staff were nice, place is clean, atmosphere is as you might expect for a fast casual place, though a little too brightly lit (being nitpicky). The tots were good, but the some of the cheese curds were exploded and missing the actual cheese.
The burgers were bland and underseasoned, no maillard on the patties to speak of and had little to no salt, buns were on the soggy side. Maybe I got them on an off day? I had my hopes up for a place to give five guys a run for their money, but this ain’t it.

We ordered burgers, fries and tots, so we’re no help when it comes to chicken.
Wait staff was friendly and welcoming. Thumbs up there.
Food was fresh but lacked oomph, especially the burgers. Bun was fine, lettuce and tomato on ours were fresh and the patties were cooked well. They lack flavor though, an absolutely nondescript burger that I assume is better when slathered in sauce and with onion rings on it.
The fries were good, nothing to say there.
The tots were great, except there was grease in the basket. Seems like a little more “dry” time was needed before serving. Not the end of the world.
Overall, it’s fine. They’re aiming for a middle ground between Wendy’s, McD’s, etc., and places like Five Guys. Except Five Guys does what they do really well and pack flavor into their limited options.
Here, I’m struggling to find a comparison or hook. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, but outside of decent quality of the food, the lack of flavor hurts.

What a great bite! Wife and my youngest had to try out the new burger joint! Son got the classic. I got the bacon and wife got the chicken. Who gets chicken at a burger place!?! Wife and I split bacon cheese fries. All good. No issues. Was it my favorite? It was good. It was hot. No complaints. All tops were fresh. Staff was all really nice. Place was very clean. Being busy the still got out food out in an expected amount of time. This isn’t fast food (but where is anymore?). We will be back. You gotta try em at least once right?

Everything was fresh and delicious. chicken was fried perfectly, crispy but still juicy and tender. The burger was flavorful and juicy as well. Cheese curds were also fried perfectly, I can tell they use quality curds, squeaky and yummy. Staff greeted me happily and looked genuinely pleased to be at work. My only wish is for a harder sear on the burger and to be able to order sides of sauces when ordering online. Regardless it was a great meal and I will be back.

The food is good, but the customer service and management is lacking. My first visit to this location we placed our order to go and waited for over 45 minutes turns out our food was ready and had been sitting on the counter but none of the employees made us aware our food was finished. I had to get up and ask if it was ready and sure enough it had been sitting there and was cold. That’s ashame. My 2nd and last time visiting my son ordered a vanilla milkshake, the lady made his milkshake after our food finished as we almost walked out without it, but she stopped us to make the milkshake. The problem was in her rush to make the milkshake she did NOT seal the top on the cup securely. As my son and I walked to the car the top came off and the milkshake started spilling. We immediately went back in and requested another milkshake and was denied when it was clearly their fault. I’m extremely disappointed and upset. They need a better manager I’m not even upset at the young lady but the manager doesn’t know how to treat customers. They gave me my money back but why couldn’t you just make another milkshake. DO BETTER!

Quality Burgers, quality onion rings, quality fresh fries lightly seasoned just right . Bun was soft, buttered and toasted. Soda dispenser had the perfect mix ratio. These folks are from a foreign country but do the American classics better than other American owned franchises. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. We will return and recommend. Very kind people and good service.

I was the only person in restaurant. Ordered a single burger and fries. Order took forever. Burger was not edible. The grill was not hot. No grill marks on burger. Not crispy. It was gray and weird looking. Fries were ok. $9.99 for a single burger. Should have gone to Dairy Queen.
