I am sorry I cannot recommend eating here. The chicken sandwich tasted like rubber. I took one bite and I couldn’t take another. It was also so overcooked I almost thought I was given a burger by mistake. The Philly cheesesteak was average at best. I ordered kids chicken finger meal and my grandson and I shared that. We enjoyed it.
The floor of the restaurant was so sticky everywhere. Seemed like grease. The restrooms were disgusting. The restaurant was also very smoky. The filters over the cook station need a good cleaning. It’s a shame because it looks and sounds like it should be good according to the pictures.

This is by far the worst quality food I’ve ever had in my life. When getting my order the bag was soaking wet… not shocking, the food inside looked like it was soaked in watery grease. I opened one of the burgers and the bun was saturated and literally could not be held because the bun was disintegrating due to being soaking wet. The other burger had so much ketchup on it, the wrapper was covered inside and out- i was almost convinced that was the cause of the soaking wet food. Couldn’t be- I imagine the person who prepared our order took a full glass of water and turned it over into the bag before sending it out. Not to mention that I asked for extra pickles and was met with toxic, flimsy, radioactive, out of date frisbees. The shakes I got which were brownie and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch were unbearable. The cereal within the shake was soggy and a horrible texture- not something this place has nailed on the head so far. The key point here is their golden sauce which promises a perfect dipping sauce. I’m not sure what I’m expected to dip into the mix of mustard and barbecue sauce. I think I’d be more impressed if this was presented in a better way than just two squirts of each sauce into the cup and it’s given a little shake. I truly would never eat here again, even if the food doesn’t take me out first.

Our first visit was a surprise to us. We were amazed how good this fast food chain was. Single, double and even triple made to order hamburgers and premium cheeseburgers. The fries were freshly fried to order as well. Professional and courteous staff going above and beyond to prepare each and every order with such precision and care! Excellent owner as well! After just one visit we knew no other fast food burger and/or french fries in Nashville could compete with the outstanding quality of their food and skill in which it is prepared! Thanks to the employees who make this possible!

We are visiting Nashville, TN, this weekend and searched google for a place to enjoy a cheeseburger and chicken tenders. I was a little skeptical about the food after the challenge of communicating my order. However, I was pleasantly surprised. My sweet bourbon, bacon, and cheddar cheese burger was amazing The portions were very nice, and my grandson enjoyed his chicken fingers. The french fries were so plentiful that we shared them. Kudos to the african american cook on duty tonight. Once he saw me struggling with the order, he came over to assist and then cooked a great meal for me and my grandson. Thank you! It was delicious
We decided to go back for food to eat on our drive home and ran into the owner of Way Back Burger. He was kind enough to introduce himself when he heard my name called for a take-out order. That’s good customer service.

I got the impossible but I ordered an extra Patty with it tasted great couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat. Tasted awesome. Great place to get some burgers and food. Great service and amazing atmosphere. Will definitely visit again but bringing more friends next time. ❤️

Asked 3 times when ordering to NOT have any A-1 sauce on the Steakburger. Even the receipt showed no A-1 sauce. When I got home the burger was DRENCHED in A-1 sauce.
I had to throw it away and my wife had no dinner as a result.
I am really angry.
It’s been several days and no response from the company or management. This doesn’t reflect very well.

Great place for a classic burger. Patty could have used a bit more seasoning, but the extras were a great add! Definitely recommend the shakes and fries!

Food was great. Service was a little slow but they seemed to be short handed. A few other details would point to be short handed as well. A couple of the fountain drink choices were out of syrup. Several of the tables were dirty. I let the employees know. Being only two people working and six orders back to back, they probably didn’t get to those duties for a bit. Just be mindful if you are in a hurry, it may take a few minutes. The employees were super nice. Really hope they get some help soon because I definitely want to revisit. They have very good burgers.

The customer service was good the cashier was very patient while I ordered my food. The manager also came out and helped and made sure I found the forks. The food came out in good timing also. I ordered a classic cheese burger with chili cheese fries the meal was a solid 7/10 only because I like a little more flavor with it. If you prefer. Burger that is light and not as heavy this is the perfect place it wouldn’t feel to much on your stomach.
