Okay Birmingham peeps! So I tried a burger spot downtown called Wayback Burger via DoorDash. First time seeing it, so I figured hey, why not! Who doesn’t love a good juicy burger?!

Okay so let’s talk about it!
The fries gave me life. I love a good fry. Not too much salt but just enough. I asked for bbq sauce on the side and to my surprise it was Sweet Baby Rays sauce in a cup whewwww! It made the fries 10x better.
The double bacon burger gave me Wendy’s baconator teas. It was good though! Wendy’s probably a lil cheaper though for those days you want to save a coin but if you want to try a new spot, try theirs instead. I took some of the lettuce off because it was way too much and I added grilled onions instead of the raw ones. Perfect combination. Other than that, I left it as is.

Ultra greasy and not in a good way. I walked in to the employee sitting in the lobby and they acted irritated that I was there. The burger was so greasy the burger was nearly in able to hold together. on top the place was disgusting. The only savings grace was the fries.

Friendly and prompt service. Outstanding burgers (ordered the cheeesy burger and a build your own)! Generous portions of fries, too. Shakes were good, but a bit overpriced. There were significant alterations to the menu; don’t count on anything on the online menu being available when you go.

I enjoyed my burger there both times I visited. A hot, double patty with fresh, chilled fixings. Good tea as well. It’s right around the corner from the North Pavillion of UAB.
I’d recommend ya stop in if you’re around there. Spent $14 for the meal, and it was worth it.

It was so good I ordered two days in a row. Originally I got it because it was free delivery on Doordash but it 100% hits the spot! I got the Cheeeeeesy Burger and Cajun tots and highly recommend. Give it a try!

Pretty ehhh the chicken was huge(a little stiff and burnt) fries are eh not my cup of tea. Paid about 12 dollars. It’s a little higher on the price than most stores. No seasoning on the fries or chicken. Staff seem like they didn’t care much either. I would avoid this one.

Got to this restaurant at 8:00 and as soon as we walked in, was told that it was take out only. We wanted to dine in, but decided to try it anyway.
My son wanted a burger and tots. Tried to order the special and was told, very rudely that you couldn’t substitute tots for fries. Ok. We got fries.
Then tried to order a chicken wrap and was told they were out. Due to the servers poor English, we couldn’t tell what they were out of, but we decided we had seen enough.
Terrible and rude service, restaurant was nasty and evidently “out” of something.
Don’t waste your time here.

NEVER AGAIN! I visited Wayback for the first time and had downloaded the app. When we got to the restaurant, to get takeout for three people, I wanted to use the welcome reward barcode, the cashier/manager said that the scanner wasn’t working and stated it’s “not on us” and I couldn’t use the rewards. My daughter had already ordered her meal, which all was on one ticket and while we were working and discussing the scanner not working, the cooks went ahead and prepared her food and they gave tater tots instead of fries. When she said that she ordered fries, the cashier/manager said that the cooks don’t speak English. Now we had to wait for the other two orders while hers was getting cold. A restaurant should have working equipment and honor what they advertise.

The girl at the counter could BARLY speak english, while waiting on my food the girl behind the counter was sweeping the lobby in only her socks, the food was less than average. I won’t be back.
