Good food, fast service. Pricey compared to fast food ($18.xx for a burger combo) but in line with most fast casual sit down places.
Burger was perfectly cooked and deliciously greasy. Best to eat fresh as I assume the bun would be mush if delivered.

The food quality was very great and I would eat here or at least take the food Togo again. The burgers were cooked perfectly definitely one of the better place I have tried in Florida. Fries are fresh and crispy. The bread wasn’t overly toasted or underlay toasted. Again food was great. The staff service not so much one of the people was very nice and friendly but the person that took our order Manny was not very much. He had an attitude and was very negative with energy. Told my husband he heard him say something about the order 3 times very rudely and still messed up the order. The tables were kinda dirty when we came in and when I asked for a wipe to clean the table he gave me a dry paper towel. I hope that when we come back in the future I can get more positive energy from staff and the tables are properly wiped down. Nothing wrong with the food again.

I had a delicious lunch at wayback burgers today. The classic is a great burger. The onion rings were fresh out of the fryer, hot and delicious. My dad got the bourbon burger with fries and he really enjoyed it. The cashier and manager went above and beyond to be welcoming and hospitable. I will be back

Wayback has become my favorite burger joint after just 2 visits. The burgers are great and they give a large amount of fries with the order. They have a nice chill atmosphere as a well.

Went today for lunch with my worker and saw the $8 meal deal right next to the register. Helper ordered the chicken and I asked for the “$8 meal deal burger” and was told that it’s for kids only. When I mentioned why it was on the sign with the chicken that my worker just ordered with our issues, she said “oh that one”. We were in there with two other tables and it took 26 minutes to get our food. At least the two cooks were entertaining while they argued with each other about who does what with the orders. The smaller make back there was cussing like a sailer. Owners can watch it all if they wish on their cameras. One other customer in there with his small kid actually asked them to tone down his language. Burger was a lot thinner than I expected and didn’t come with any of the toppings on the picture. Chicken was good size.

Eddie and crew were awesome and treated me very well. Service was quick, food was great and I highly recommend this place! I had the Cajun Burger with no bun with lettuce substitute. It was super fresh and tasty and I’ll definitely be ordering from here again! Thanks for the fantastic meal, guys. Keep up the great work!

This was a great place for traditional burgers and fries. I had a double with bacon and cheese, my dining partner had a single cheese burger and we split an order of fries. The portion of fries was generous, and despite both of us sharing a single order, we had leftovers.
What’s the burgers themselves were quality. The buns were nicely toasted.
This is a great place to grab some comfort food. I’m definitely going back next time I’m in Daytona Beach.
I made it a point to think the guys working the grill on my way out. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient.
Make sure you tip, because you’re going to get good service.

I had the Bourban bacon burger and opted for a milkshake, instead of fries.
The burger was juicy, fresh and I didn’t feel heavy afterwards. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. The shake was thick & the right amount of chocolate. They also serve tap beer. Great location with indoor seating & a covered, outdoor patio area.
Definitely worth a stop. Eddie the owner was very active in the restaurant and has a vision for growth. Super friendly guy too.

Burger was good but not great, just needs little more salt. Patty tastes plain. But my main issue is the owner or manager, he makes the staff say 2 walking in chef, 2 orders chef, 2 patties chef. I have been at some of the best restaurants in Florida and real chefs who create masterpieces don’t require staff to say chef so much. It’s unnecessary and takes the atmosphere down. This is a burger joint, they make sandwiches. Food isn’t an original creation or anything worthy of chef being yelled out with every action made. Bosses like that make for a bad work environment and experience for employees. My brother is a very respected chef at one of the most popular restaurants in Florida, celebrities from all over travel just to this restaurant and get special dishes made to order with a display like you have never seen. That’s a chef, flipping burgers and adding toppings doesn’t fall into that category. Makes the customers feel bad for the employees making a it seem like all the staff is in trouble if they don’t follow these rules. But props to the staff for keeping a straight face and pushing through the arrogance. Other than that good place for quick bite to eat, nothing special just decent burgers.

Great food and you get more than you expect! The burgers and fries are made fresh when your order and extremely friendly staff! This is a must for anyone traveling through that wants a good meal and even better service!
