It was good, hit the spot. We needed some sustenance to get through the rest of our errands so my friend got a burger and fried pickles. Both were okay but not the best they’ve ever had. There’s ample seating and single stall bathrooms. Great options for customization. Not many options for gluten free girlies :/. I didn’t end up getting anything but I enjoyed sitting there. Burger not pictured because it was gone by the time I remembered to take a pic.

Saw about 10 ads on social media to try their Cheeeesy burger before we caved and pulled up. First visit here: bad first impression, to put it kindly.
The guy filling in for a lack of front-of-house was nice enough. The girls on the line could use a crash course in customer service; they were snippy, snarky, and overall just had a bad attitude — unfortunate, since their food is good.
May have to give their Bel Air location a try instead.

I had to post a review about the great service here on March 6, 2026. The staff was very friendly, made eye contact, and actually had a back-and-forth interaction with us. I got the sense that they actually cared about their jobs. There was none of the uninterested attitude you get at most retail and restaurants. The wait for the food was a little longer than I expected for fast-casual, but no longer than a table-service restaurant. And they brought the food to the table instead of calling us back up to the counter. Leah the “team leader” even took a quick lap around the dining area asking customers how everything was. The staff seemed young, but they worked like seasoned professionals.

Wish I could say more good about this place. The friends we went with spoke so highly of them. This was my family’s first visit to your establishment. They only brought out 4 of the six meals we ordered… we waited for the other 2 plates… after some other folks that came in after us left with food, I walked up to check on our other 2 meals… They were up there on the counter surrounded be a lot of Togo orders… I asked if I could have those two plates… she said I can take them too your table. No thanks, I am here now for them. For the price of each meal, this was extremely dissapointing. Two thirds of our group was almost done with thier meals when the 2 got started with a warm burger and cold fries.
So sad after dropping over a hundred dollars for hamburgers.
Needless to say there are many other places to choose from.. I love burgers, eat them multiple times a week…. too many other places to choose from!

OMG! My first time ordering from Wayback burgers on Doordash. I absolutely enjoyed the CRAFT YOUR OWN – DOUBLE burger and the HOT DOG – CRAFT YOUR OWN with the FRIES. It felt like being at a cookout. The burgers were cooked fresh and the all beef hotdog reminded me of my grandmother’s summer holiday cookouts. The fries are hand cut. Portion sizes are great. I would order there again and again. Wayback is definitely a good burger spot. My first time ordering from Wayback and they hit it out the ball park, that’s a HOMERUN!

Just wanted to leave an amazing review for autumn FiFi and Matt at the Parkville Way back. Matt is an amazing manager who’s always very attentive and takes care of everything. Me and my son Need and FiFi and autumn always have wonderful smiles and they seem to enjoy what they do. All I can say is they all need raises immediately. Thanks again for everything.

My son and I just left there and the food/service was amazing. The cheeseburgers were fresh and made to order. We got the fried cheese curds and they were delicious. The staff asked us multiple times if we were happy with our food and if we needed anything else. My family and I are supporting Wayback instead of the other guys from now on.
Back again, and just like always food and service was 5 stars! I really appreciate the friendliness at the counter when ordering.

This is my first time coming here. I’ve wanted to check this place out for a long time, but I finally got the chance today since I was nearby. I placed a takeout order online for a grilled chicken sandwich my way and two bourbon bacon cheeseburgers. The target pick up time was 12:36pm. By the time I drove over there and found parking, it was a couple of minutes after the target time, so I went in to see if it was ready. The place was nice and clean. There were only two other customers at the time. I told one of the workers that I was here to pick up an order and gave him my name. I saw several burgers on the grill but no order ready so I sat and waited. During this time, someone else came in and patiently waited at the register for a few minutes. There were two workers, but it took one of them some time to acknowledge him because they were having a deep discussion about what size hard drive they should get for their video game system all while preparing food extremely slow. I then realized that they didn’t start on my food until I walked in and asked about it. I then watched them making the food while still talking about video game systems. They finally made the last sandwich for my order. It was a very, very thin chicken breast on the grill. It looked like it was precooked, and they were just warming it up. They placed the thin, dry chicken on the bun and wrapped it up with chicken still hanging out of the bun. I went up and asked if that was my order because the chicken didn’t look right. I opened the sandwich and asked them if that’s how the chicken is supposed to look in which they replied, “Yes. We flatten it.” Only one tomato, one slice of cheese, and one piece of lettuce. When I took it home, it was like I was just eating bread. The chicken was definitely dry as well. I included the picture of the chicken that is advertised on their online order page for comparison. On the other hand, the bourbon burgers I got for my sons looked decent, and they said tasted good. I’m not sure if I will return. If I do, I will not get the chicken sandwich. It’s also interesting that on a Friday during lunch that it wasn’t busy yet service was super slow.
