I went to Wayback for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived there was no customers in the restaurant. Was greeted by a staff member when I walked through the door. I was able to order on a self-service kiosk. There was a long list of burger (w/create your own options), chicken, and hot dog items to choose from. I decided to order the Cheeesy Burger with a side of fries and a Oreo milkshake. Everything was cooked fresh after I ordered and at my table within 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and presentable. The only knock is that I had a hard time finding napkins. Only one table had napkins in the dispenser. The burger was a double smash style burger with four pieces of melted cheese, and the bun was toasted and placed upside down on the burger (intentionally as advertised). The burger was delicious and well seasoned while not too greasy. You could tell the meat was fresh and higher quality than your typical fast food place. I give the burger a 5/5. The fries were hot and crisp. The only problem was they were over salted to the point I couldn’t really eat them. The few fries I was able to eat were really good. Next time I will ask for them unsalted and add salt myself 4/5. The Oreo shake was nothing special to write home about but it hit the spot 3/5. The Cheeesy combo ($18) plus the shake ($8) came out to a total of $26. I would eat here again but skip the milkshake as I can find better ones elsewhere at a similar price point. Overall experience was a 4/5.

We had such a great experience at Wayburger Ashburn! The burgers and shakes were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The restaurant itself was spotless, and I really appreciated how clean the bathroom was. To me, that says a lot about how they run the whole place.
The staff were also very polite and welcoming. A special shout-out to the young staff member with glasses (looked Asian) — he was especially attentive and kind.
Overall, everything from the food to the cleanliness to the service was excellent. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back!

So delicious BLT grilled chicken sandwich, juicy cheesy burger cooked just right, oooo and cheesy bacon fries. Wonderful clean atmosphere. Hospitality and service was great. I highly recommend Wayback Burgers. Price was fair service was fast. Food was so fresh off the grill, delicious and hot.

Every time we go here there is always a problem with our cheesesteak, they now force you to use the kiosk to order your food. We all get a cheesesteak mayonnaise and cheese only and just meat and cheese. We use the kiosk you click on the onions and it removes it so to me that should remove the onions from your sandwich, but no, the lady just told me you have to put it in the comment section in order to remove onions from your sandwich, which makes no sense nowhere on a ticket to say onions. They don’t like to remake your sandwich and they don’t like to refund your money. This will be our last time Eating here. So now we have two cheesesteaks that we are both allergic to onions that we gotta throw in the trashcan so we just wasted $23 and change

I was looking forward to trying the burgers from here, as I’ve driven by it so many times.
I was able to order my burger with ease. However, she asked if I wanted a combo, so I said sure, could I get onion rings, are they included? Yes, then she asked me what soda I wanted, so I asked if I get a bottle of water, is it extra? No. Apparently a “combo” is not like a fast food combo that is pre-priced; instead, you pay the the actual price for the drink and fries/onion rings. So NO it’s not included and is extra.
I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions, mushrooms, swiss cheese and mayo/ketchup. I was waiting by the counter, so I watched them make the food. I’m not sure if she was being stingy with the onions/mushrooms butI had to ask her to put more of the grilled onions/mushrooms on my burger. The meat patty was pretty dry and there really wasn’t enough of the onions and mushrooms.
The onion rings were amazing, and the mac & cheese bites were pretty good too, but not very cheesy. They are very clean though, I noticed that they were always handling the food with gloves. At one point, I saw the girl change her gloves, so that’s part of the reason for the two stars, otherwise, I’d have given one.
I came here for the burger/onion rings on my first visit and came back another day for the mac & cheese bites.
I can’t say that I would definitely return… There are way too many other burger places to try out and this area.

Burger was actually disgusting. Order was very wrong. Fries were ok. Kiosk still asks for a tip for an underwhelming $18? I wouldn’t recommend this location.

I order online for pick up and drive 25 mins to pick up this food not only What’s the place dead but on top of that they were standing around talking. They could not even figure out my order. Once they figured out my order. They went back to talking in. One of them went onto a break after coming back to my place of employment to eat my dinner. I called the restaurant after. I realize the order was over half wrong. The first time I was answered by. I’m too busy for this. I will put you on the phone with my manager when I received the young girl, she said well I guess my coworker made it wrong. Then she said will call me back in a couple minutes. I’m gonna call the real manager after I called back, another gentleman picked up the phone and said the manager is not here right now. I said well who is the person that I just spoke to, and on the phone. He says the Guy is calling back, then he hung up on me. Not only was the food. Not hot and fresh, but on top of that. The service was terrible, and if this is how you treat your customers when they’re trying to resolve it instead of going to your corporate office and reporting you. I guarantee you. You’re going to lose a lot of business. I feel like that. It was a very satisfied with all of the service tonight, and to be honest half of my order. I have gone to this place before it was amazing food and amazing service really gone downhill. Please help this location.

But wait I’ve been going and don’t see it advertised hope they but it back out it’s a thing that was unique and made you go back or at least take notice. Taking notice is good.
The food is good!

This place has it but a thousand island in n out or big Mac sauce type sauce is needed. There’s is more BBQ type of mayo mix
