THE BEST WATERING HOLE IN RAMONA. I love love love the team of bartenders, they’re all so friendly, kind and quick! The service here is above par! The food? Fabulous. I’m a sucker for the jalapeno wrapped peppers, the fish and chips are perfect and the portions are massive. The fries? PERFECTLY crisp. The sliders are massive and delicious. Atmosphere is friendly and clean. Karaoke on Thursdays, if that’s what you’re looking for. Holiday’s are very eventful and everyone dresses up.

Burgers and sandwiches were delicious. The service was quick, and our waitress was on top of everything. You can eat inside, on the outdoors patio, or in the bar with full menu. Beers are a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was nice. Parking was crowded for some reason.

Awesome staff , servers are always friendly and efficient . The food here is tasty and consistently served with perfection. I live down in Rancho Penesquitos and enjoy dropping by Waypoint on my way home from the desert or I make a special trip up for date night with my hunny.
Always an enjoyable experience and love when they can have live music indoors . Outdoors in the summer would be pretty rad also,, if we’re still in shutdown from COVID

It had been a few years since I’d been back in town but I knew Way Point had to be one of my stops, and I’m glad I did because it’s even better than I remembered!
I got the vegisaurus both times and it’s hard to go wrong with fried avocado so of course it’s just as delicious as I remembered, but my group had burgers and dips and they couldn’t believe how good it all was! It made me look good for recommending the place.
The bartender, Nicole, may just have been the highlight of our trip! She definitely knows her stuff, but more importantly she’s the kinda bartender that makes the place what it is.
She’s great with people, generates energy, knows her regulars very well and made us feel just as at home! We had such a good time with her; every bar NEEDS a Nicole.
We’ll definitely be back soon for a few more rounds with the best bartender on the west coast, (ps. let her help you pick a cocktail bc she’s one heck of a mixologist)
