I visited wawa #7607 4310 bardstown rd. As a first time visitor I had no clue how things worked. It was about 9:00pm returning from out of town. I was exhausted and hungry. I stopped at this location for food. I followed the crowd to see how to place an order since I couldn’t get anyone’s attention behind the counter. That should’ve been a red flag, but my stomach couldn’t go without substance. I was able to order a double burger and fries. I stepped out of the way to allow others to order. Once I saw what I thought to be my order addition on the counter I waited until my number was called out. I stood there for a good 5 minutes. I decided to get me a drink while I continued to wait for my food. I stood near the counter a few more minutes until I went to pay for my drink. I informed the cashier it was taking a while for my food. The cashier asked me if I had payed for it. I informed her I didn’t because I thought I had to wait to be called. The cashier proceed to roar with laughter. I didn’t know what was going on and felt embarrassed. The cashier informed me to pay her first then they would call my number for my food. I told her a greeter is needed for the first few weeks so people would know what to do. Once I paid I proceeded back to the food section waiting on my order. My number was called I gathered my food and left. Once I was in my car driving away my food was disgusting. The almost $10 burger was cold, my fries were disgusting. I called the number on my receipt to make a complaint and as of today I have yet to hear from anyone. I payed $15 and some change for cold food. I started to go to the Mc Donald’s next door to get some hot food and payed a lot less with better taste. The store just opened and already they’re mistakes. I understand time is needed to work out the kinks, but handling complaints should be a priority. I didn’t want to write this but no one ever returned my call. I could’ve taken the food back to them to remake it, but by the time I got into my car after driving for so long I couldn’t turn my car around to go back. WaWa food and service was and is disgusting. The cashier laughter like I knew what to do. The cold food like I knew how things worked. I will not be back for food or gas. What’s crazy several of my friends and family has experienced problems not knowing how things work when ordering food and pick up in different locations. It’s safe to say in my opinion a lot of people are not satisfied with WaWa customer service or the food court. I have it one star for my cold dry food and the humor the cashier found to be funny of me not knowing how things worked. In my opinion for my group we’ll stick to restaurants that appreciate their customers and willing to return calls and to rectify unpleasant experience.

As a Philadelphia native I was very excited to see WaWa pop up here. I have been in the south for the last 6 years and WaWa has been one of the things I look forward to getting when every time I go home. This particular location may have ruined it for me. Ordered a pizza with garlic crust and jalapeño ranch. It had no ranch or garlic crust. The pizza was gross. The sauce tasted sour, the cheese was barely cooked, and the dough was goopy. My kids wouldn’t even eat it. They were also out of pretty much everything I wanted to get. Had to get refunded because they were out of stuff I ordered. Just a generally crappy experience from a chain I’ve been going to since I was a baby.

After visiting two closed Thorntons in a row I found this new gem. I work at night and when I need a break from work or a snack ill gladly drive past multiple gas stations to this location. Its well lit, looks waaaay more welcoming and the people who work here are warm, welcoming and actually seem happy to be here, staff know exactly where everything is and can predict what your looking for. This is my new favorite gassation. Oh yeah, they have refrigerated milk in the coffee bar section which I also thought was amazing

Normally I refrain from rating gas stations, yet Wawa has made an exception. The fueling area is well spaced out, not feeling cluttered of vehicles, and there is ample parking on all sides of the building. For items, there is the usual items of jerky, candies, sodas, etc, yet what stands out is the kitchen-made items of different sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, coffees, etc. Depending on ones choice in the kitchen-made items there are some items that are earnestly nutritious as opposed to being run-of-the-mill high carbs and non-nutritious in nature. To boot, the kitchen staff are very efficient, friendly, and kind. I doubt having waited any more than 10 minutes for any order of their making. Like other chains, they do have their membership nuances. Recommended.

Tried the mac and cheese and chicken noodle soup. I guess they were both passable but it was largely a waste of $11. Really nice lady working the cash register though, would’ve loved to have had more of a conversation with her.

1st and last time at this Wawa’s. I walked in placed an order on the kiosks. Didn’t realize I had to walk across the store to another kiosk to pay for that order (confusing set up for a 1st timer) a red light comes on during my transaction to pay, I stand there and wait for assistance. No one comes to assist. The other 2 kiosks started to blink -those customers left as well. I decided to order curbside. Ive been waiting for 1 hr no one comes to bring me my food out. I walk back in and my order has been sitting at the to go stand for almost 45 min. Food was cold, chip order was wrong. I will NOT be back . I just wanted to try the “good food” they supposedly have. Im still standing waiting for them to remake my food 1 hr and 10 min later. The lady is remaking my order now without any issues, and was friendly.

Ordered 3 burgers and 3 orders of fries. Was told fries would be 15 minutes. 35 minutes later kept being told 5 more minutes. Finally number was called, no bag to put all six items to carry. Worker stated no bags, meanwhile phone order pick up orders had bags. Arrived home 5 minutes away, all food ice cold and soggy fries. Lesson learned, don’t order food from a gas station.

Food is okay, it used to be worth the price but Wawa has rapidly increased prices on everything across the board since opening. Do not support this business practice, starting off with low prices and then within 2 months somethings have gone up in price by nearly 50%. Insane. You also often have to wait nearly an hour for a pick up order that said 15 minutes. Gouged food prices, understaffed location. Stay away.
Do not support the bardstown location. Scummy business practices deserve no customers.
