I don’t recommend eating at any Wawa’s. I ate at the Fort Mead location and was hospitalized for food poisoning. The Manager Lee offered me a replacement meal and said I’m sorry that happened to you. I haven’t had any other calls. Nothing else was done. Nothing else was said. Why would I want a replacement meal when I got so sick? I reached out to corporate to let them know, there may be a problem with that location this was back from December 20 when I was hospitalized. Their corporate office left a message twice and when I returned their call, they never returned mine. We have had to call several times and they still have not made contact with me. I do not recommend going to Wawa‘s for any type of food. If you get sick, they don’t care and they will not notify anybody or even look into it. They do not care about their customers. There are other Gas station stations to get a meal from I suggest you go there it may be safer.

Incredible card machines where malfunctioning with no cash option to pay registered denied to sell because I had a $50 bill and the first transaction came out to 40 & something for a sodas and 2 bags of chips for my kids. So they try to rob then they deny to sell. How does this company make profit here.

Normally I’d rate my visit at a 4 to 4.5, but this morning the older man at the counter (that I had to wait roughly 5 minutes for him to come to the counter) was incredibly rude and told me I should just use self-checkout instead since I was paying with a card. He’s the one that gets paid to be a cashier, not me.

I love Wawa. However. This location has not prepared a good sandwich or drink in the 3 different times I have visited. I have had 2 hand brewed coffees and have ordered 3 shakes for other family members and the coffee did not have the sweetener as I ordered and was not even the right flavor. The shakes taste like powdered milk. The 3 sandwiches I’ve ordered were wrong, and all 3 have had hard bread. I hope this place will get better with time and practice. As of right now.. I’m going back to Winter Haven Wawa.

Stopped in to get gas and a sandwich. Very busy. Employees were helpful and professional, no one complaining. Thank You Tiffany and and all the Employees. The cashier did a great job.. Place gets orders wrong all the time.
Night manger called Lee doesn’t know what he’s doing and treats customers horribly.
I saw this manager trespass a customer for complaining that his order was wrong.
Manger Lee I overheard told the customer it was the customers fault order was wrong and that he complained too much then trespasses him for it.
I stood there in disbelief in what I was seeing.
The food is always made wrong the employees are clueless and that night manager should be fired.
Choose any other wawa a you’ll be better off for it… As a local guide I am highly disappointed in this wawa….many horrible experiences… on my way home I use to stop there not anymore.

I go to Wawa in Highlands County daily, sometimes more than once a day and this was by far the worst experience ever. Ordered a sandwich on the app, stood waiting for 10 minutes until I finally asked where my order was and then he says it’s at the front in the hot case even though I ordered on the app and it should have been bagged and put in the pick up section like it usually is at every other Wawa. Thanks for making my spouse late to work because people can’t do their jobs.

Free coffee for their grand opening! Very clean store, very friendly staff. The other reviews I saw on here are people holding them to rediculous standards. THEY JUST OPENED so give them them a few weeks to acclimate. Also rating a place a 1 star because “its too crowded” makes me think that person just hates being out in public. Keep doing your thing WAWA.
