Its a Wawa, if youve been to one, you know what to expect. Its very convenient, and quick, especially with online ordering. I highly recommend getting the wawa app if you go to wawa more than once a week, usually accrue points and can use to get deals at the store, including deals on gas and even food or drinks that you can get with just accrued points. You accrue everytyme you shop there and buy anything. Highly recommend!!!

Hey Wawa, would you allow customers to park for eight hours in front of a gas pump? Why would you allow your employees to park for their shift in front of the Tesla chargers? I witnessed two Jeep vehicles blocking the chargers and while I was there one of your employees came out and opened up one of those cars.
If you wouldn’t accept it in front of a gas pump, don’t accept it in front of the electric pump. It’s the same thing. And it’s just as illegal. There were plenty of actual parking spaces available at the same time. This was a choice. Explain it to your employees that this is not acceptable.

I had such a long day and was about to hit the road for a 3hrs trip to my destination in NC but, before I left VA totally I went to the last wawa (this one) until the NC state line. I enjoy the wawa experience and have yet to have a bad experience.
Racheal the cashier was very very helpful. When she asked “if I had found everything ok?” I let her know that I was sad couldn’t find the green wawa unsweet tea in the refrigerators. She then went to the back storage and found me the unsweet tea. I was complete and felt ready to drive! She was so helpful and kind and I was super happy after that. I would return to this location because customer service is great here.

It was particularly busy when I visited on my road trip. The woman working the food counter was visibly distressed at the number of people waiting on food, and she was telling folks that it would take 30 minutes to get their food.
As far as Wawa goes, this wasn’t the worst I’ve been to, but definitely the the most understaffed (or poorly staffed) one.

The company evolved over the years and opened its first convenience store in 1964 in Folsom, Pennsylvania. It has grown in popularity and location and as of January 2022, there were over 900 Wawa stores across the United States, primarily concentrated in the Mid-Atlantic states. This is one of the many sites of this store in Petersburg, Va. Depending on which exit you take off the interstate this is either very close to i-95 or several miles. The Wagner Road exit is much closer. Like most stores of this chain, it has parking right in front of the stores and lining the lot near the street. There is a set of gas pumps and the store has restrooms, hoagies, coffee, and quick bites. The store has a convenient self-service touchscreen ordering system for hoagies allows for customization to your heart’s content. The coffee selection is good, catering to different tastes. Outside and inside the store was clean, including the restrooms.
The layout is well-organized, making it easy to find what you need quickly. The staff is generally friendly and efficient, contributing to a positive customer experience. Overall, I had a very good experience and, with the exception of taking the wrong exit to arrive here, would recommend this stop for fellow travelers.
