The older members of the staff cannot be asked to make food in the future. They add nauseating amounts of sauce and condiment regardless of the specified amounts, the food they make is inedible. The younger people actually make edible sandwiches.

Is it a thing during the holidays for the hot chocolate to be out at Wawa so people have to order the more expensive must add milk or cream chocolate options they serve. I have been going to a certain Wawa for about 2 months now and have yet to see anyone get hot chocolate from there automated machine as I do but for some reason now they are out maybe. Friday I had an employee open the hot chocolate machine and attempt to add mix when I told them the machine was not dispensing anything. The employee opened the under counter and proceeded to grab a box of mix then proceeded to change it out but the machine was full of mix the nozzle just had not been cleaned in a while, the employee cleaned and started the machine. Being nosy I noticed a few boxes of mix (on Friday). Monday morning the machine had a sign only on the hot chocolate part saying it was out of mix. I was then lead by an employee to enter my order on the screen and they would make my order to my liking. Whatever I was handed was 1000 degrees first off and tasted like melted caramel in water no chocolate horrible. Also the employees just aren’t bright they don’t look happy and I over hear the people who make the food personal convos about sex fights and everything else.

My family and I usually come to this store but we will not do this going forward. My daughter came back to explain abuse witnessed of the employees by who we assume to be the manager – little man in a black hat and long sleeve shirt. There needs to be prompt action and responsibility taken immediately, this is unacceptable and not good enough. There is a reason our youth are struggling now and this is why. Under no circumstances is it okay to talk to anyone like that. I expect prompt action and a real address of this matter. I hope the young lady and man are okay. I would never let anyone talk to my children like that.

I downloaded the Wawa app and joined the rewards club. I then placed my order on the app and paid in the app. I went to pickup my order and the doors are locked. The lights are on but there isn’t even so much as a “closed” sign on the door. I called the customer service hotline and was on hold for 15 minutes only to be disconnected. Wawa took my money but provided no goods or services.

i know this is an odd review but i was having a really hard morning and the kindest workers made my day so much better
dwayne and the sweet woman who helped me i didnt get her name, but those two are absolute gems and i highly recommend coming to this particular wawa. I hope they have an amazing day! I’ll never forget their kindness!!

This review is for an online order placed via GrubHub. There was no problem at all with the delivery itself or the delivery time, so my comments below are about the food prepared at this Wawa location.
I ordered a cheeseburger with toppings and garlic Parmesan fries. I’ve had burgers from this Wawa in the past, and they were great. This time, not so much. The bun was dry, a bit cakey, and screamed “day old bread”. That’s enough to essentially ruin a burger. As for the garlic Parmesan fries, there were plenty of them, but they’re basically far too skinny and far too hard/crispy to even qualify as fries. “Potato sticks and nubs with salad dressing and a shake or two of grated cheese product” would far more accurately describe these things.
This Wawa and over 90% of what they sell and prepare is excellent as a rule, but someone needs to check the quality and freshness of prepared food periodically throughout the day. It can’t be left to the associates who are working hard and quickly to keep up with demand. If something is less than awesome, don’t offer it for sale.
