I AM CURRENTLY TYPING THIS FROM THE BRYN MAWR HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM BECAUSE WAWA IS APPARENTLY RUNNING A FIGHT CLUB FOR AUSTRALIAN MARSUPIALS.
I just wanted a Classic Italian hoagie. One. Simple. Hoagie. But no, as I’m walking across the parking lot on Lancaster Ave, a 6-foot-tall, jacked-up KANGAROO wearing a neon vest—which I can only assume makes him “official security”—comes out of nowhere. I didn’t even have time to scream before this absolute unit delivered a double-barreled kick straight to my lower legs.
CRACK. CRACK. My shins are now the consistency of a crushed bag of Herr’s chips.
Why is there a kangaroo at the Bryn Mawr Wawa?! This isn’t the Outback! This is the Main Line! I asked the cashier for help and he just looked at me and said, “6-7,” while doing a hand gesture like he was weighing my broken dreams.
I don’t care how “fresh” the coffee is. I don’t care if the touchscreens are convenient. My tibias are in three different zip codes because Wawa decided to replace their “No Loitering” signs with a BOUNCING MENACE.

I ordered a Gobbler Bowl and not only did they not have mashed potatoes nor stuffing (which is what I ordered), they gave me lunch meat turkey instead of actual turkey, which was traumatizing. They did replace my mashed potatoes and stuffing with a pile of sweet potato casserole, but that only added to my disappointment. I would’ve cancelled my order if I didn’t have mine and my sisters’ drinks coming out as well.

Came here at the end of august for a quick lunch break since I was in the area and the wawa is a very nice and organized, it is kind of on the small side but other than that it’s a nice wawa and I would definitely come back in the future.

I work overnight hours in and around this area a few times a month and Wawa being Wawa, I usually stop here around 2300-0300. Let alone the place being an absolute filth from the floors, bathrooms, and more. The third shift staff is consistently disgraceful. Rude, unprofessional, bitching at each other, can’t even make a bagel right. Wawa standard isn’t cutting it here.

I’m just really baffled. I ordered a hoagie and almost no part of the sandwich was what I ordered. I just wanted an Italian hoagie. I go to Wawa I order the hoagie I take it home I’m ready to have a good dinner that I don’t have to think about. I look at the sandwich. Where is my lettuce? Why is the sauce this shade of yellow? I’m not allergic to anything and I’m hungry enough to try anything so I take a bite. I’m assuming, for my own sanity, that this is mustard. I don’t like mustard. I have been checking the receipt and the note to make absolutely certain I didn’t pick up the wrong sandwich— nope. The little pickup slip has the instructions for an Italian hoagie, garlic aioli, lettuce, my usual works. And yet this sandwich on my plate has almost none of anything I could have expected on my naïve drive home. What it lacks in shredded lettuce, it makes up for in salt. I did order salt, but this amount of salt could preserve a fish in the Sahara desert. I don’t want to be too negative because I’ve had many good experiences at Wawa. There are some parts that I did order. For example, there is bread. I have no idea what to do. It’s not awful— once I removed the most salted meat and accepted that I would have to take a loss. I’m really just confused. I do feel bad about giving this a low rating for one bad experience but you have to understand that I truly feel as if I have entered an alternate dimension in which I am the kind of person who orders mustard on a sandwich. I respect the condiment, and those who would order this sandwich, but I went to Wawa so that I wouldn’t have to think about dinner and here I am with more questions than answers. My vanilla chai is very good, though.

Ordered a simple chicken sandwich, the bread was so hard it felt like biting into a rock. The chicken was not at all warm which is actually concerning from a health perspective and there was a rain drop of sauce. Could do a lot better especially since it wasn’t busy, but this has happened so many times at this location it should be expected. Edit: I had to throw it out it was so bad and Inedible
