I had such a great experience at Wawa today! The employees here deserve special recognition they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and patient. I’ve been going to Wawa since the late 90s across multiple states and have never once gotten sick — my stomach is iron. Tonight I ordered a chicken salad hoagie from this Perkasie location and within hours I had severe diarrhea, worse than when I got dysentery in Afghanistan in 2007.
Nothing else I ate today could explain it. This was clearly the trigger. Something is off with food handling or temperature control because this should not happen at a store with Wawa’s reputation.
The staff was friendly, but management needs to inspect the deli area and review food-safety procedures immediately. This was unacceptable.

**WARNING** NO GAS OR PUBLICN REST ROOMS AT THIS LOCATION. If you’re not from the area you may be used to and have come to expect those two things from Wawa locations, but you won’t find it here. And Google maps doesn’t clarify this when you do add-to-route search.

Wawa is life in PA. If you’ve been then it’s probably a constant in your life and if you haven’t, then no amount of Sheetz or Royal Farms will substitute.

I want you to take a look at what I ordered and paid for, versus what I got when I came back home. No pickles, no cheese, no tomato, a minuscule amount of chipotle sauce. This is the most sad sandwich I have ever witnessed. They should be paying me for this bc this is worthless. I am hungry and i’m eating this sad excuse of food. People working were slow despite the amount of customers. Worst experience at wawa I have ever had.

Young girl working register was nice and greeted me while getting coffee which is great. Unfortunately, they had 8 out of 12 coffee brewers closed (4 open) which makes no sense for 4:45pm when people are stopping on their way home.
