Wawa — the unofficial headquarters of “I’ll be home in five minutes, I’m just stopping quickly.”
Every time I pull into this Wawa, I tell myself I’m only grabbing one thing. One. But somehow I walk out with a drink, a snack, a backup snack, and a snack for the drive home. It’s like the place does kiruv on your stomach.
This location is classic Route 70 energy — cars everywhere, people trying to figure out where to park, and me circling the lot like I’m looking for a spot in shul on Shabbos morning. But Baruch Hashem, once you get inside, it’s smooth sailing.
The drinks section? Gehennom for anyone trying to diet, but Gan Eden for everyone else. I walk in exhausted and walk out feeling like a refreshed new creation, holding a giant Wawa iced coffee like it’s a life achievement award.
The staff here is surprisingly quick, friendly, and somehow unfazed by the steady stream of customers rolling in at all hours like it’s Chol Hamoed.
And the best part? Open 24 hours — meaning whether it’s Motzai Shabbos, late-night road trip, or “oops I forgot to buy something,” Wawa is there for you like a reliable friend who never sleeps.

I never get gas here, because there are better prices in the area. But they do have free air pump for tires, that automatically stops at your desired pressure. (Which can sometimes be out of order).
Update: I stopped by to fill up on gas. The attendant topped off even though I didn’t pay cash.

I opened up my sandwich, good thing I opened it upside down bc there was a hair on the bottom. The sandwich is also cold and doesn’t have barbecue sauce on it. But don’t worry, if you also for salt and pepper there will be so much it’s falling off the sandwich.

I left after ten minutes of sitting at the gas station without being helped when there there was a worker helping someone right next to me. Then the second worker was a hunched over older man who could barely walk… why would Wawa let him work the gas station if he could barely walk?!!
