High frequent the East Veterans Highway location a lot and I never have a negative thing to say until this morning not to get into details but the bathroom in my house was not working this morning and I was on my way to work so I figured let me stop at my usual Wawa go to the bathroom and get a coffee when I got to the location the short Spanish woman who’s usually by the coffee was cleaning the bathrooms I walked in and she gave me such a dirty look and she said it’s closed for cleaning I told her I had an emergency which I really did I needed to use the bathroom badly and I didn’t want to go into the woman’s room I did not want to be that guy so she let me use the bathroom I come out and I apologize for saying I am very sorry but the bathroom in my house is not working it’s under construction right now she rolled her eyes at me so hard that I’m pretty sure they felt it at the cooks Bridge location this woman needs a serious attitude adjustment and either retraining or a suspension that is not how you treat a customer what are you doing at 3:30 in the morning that is so important that the bathroom needed to be cleaned that quick when I had an emergency I’m not trying to make it all about me it could have been anybody somebody could have had diarrhea and that’s the only place to go I was not very happy with the location this morning and there was no reason to give me an attitude when I had a bathroom emergency

The morning staff here is absolutely terrible. Unhelpful, rude. Peggy was being told that her lunch was moved as I got to the front of the line one time (shame on her GM for having to tell her right then in front of customers, but still). She was aggressive and blunt with me and I told her that it was uncalled for, not my fault her lunch got moved. That was about a year ago and it’s still a problem with her and the black hair blue eyed other cashier that works in the mornings. I never get a “good morning” or a “have a nice day”. If you want a job with scheduled breaks, go to college and get it. You work customer service and are terrible at it

Which means whenever life happens — early morning run, late-night drive, Motzai Shabbos cravings, or you’re just out and need a מקום to regroup — Wawa is there like, “Nu, come, we got you.” The store is usually clean, bright, and organized, and you don’t feel like you’re walking into a chaotic gas station scene. It’s more like a mini supermarket that also happens to sell fuel.
The coffee setup is a real chesed. Strong, fresh, and you can customize it without needing a whole doctorate in “cream-to-sugar ratio.” And the made-to-order food is clutch — you tap a few buttons, and boom, you’ve got something hot and satisfying that’s not just a sad bag of chips and regret. Is it a 5-star restaurant? Nu. But for on-the-go? Mammash a metziah.
Staff is generally friendly and moving (especially considering how many people come in like it’s Grand Central). Even when it’s busy, they keep the line moving and the place running.
